The squad doesn’t look like they care….can accept a player has limitations in skill terms but not the basics that any of us would offer.  How many kids in Leicester would kill for the opportunity to wear that shirt?

So far he’s gone against the principles he promised. 
 

Our attacking statistics scream mid table. 
Some of our defensive data is almost as bad as some teams near the relegation zone.

We don’t really press as a team, we rank 24th for pressing sequences.

 

We’ve seen this script before, we are just too predictable to play against. Possession, possession, possession with hardly anything to show for it. 
 

Our squad is also full of unlikeable players and lacks leadership. 
 

If Marti went, who the hell do you turn to though? Russell Martin? Gary O’Neil? 
 

Years of mismanagement is finally catching up with us, if we’re not careful, another 05-08 type era will be on the horizon.

I really liked the appointment but he's been a major disappointment. We rely almost exclusively on individual brilliance because we are so slow getting the ball forward, the opposition get 10-11 players behind the ball. Its the same tired, worn out tactics, even PL teams are moving away from, but we seem obsessed with. I felt envious watching Hull, with there directness, overloads, and manipulation of space. Whereas when Abdul or Monga got the ball, they had 2-3 players on them. It's only the brilliance of Abdul that he still made things happen.

He has tried many different players our squad is simply not as good as what we used to have.

I’ve been so detached from this club for years now, despite posting regularly. Some hungry players from the academy side is pretty much the only way back for me to gain any more interest I think. I also think that speaks for a lot of others too.

yeah can tell you dont know much then, the only way things change is by either changing the owners or a change upstairs, IE Rudkin out of DoF

you can say that about young players but some of our fans wont be the same, see us getting hammered etc playing the kids and theyll say what I said in my previous post

 

the real issue in regards the club, its not that at all IMO, we are treated more like customers and not fans now

I might get massively shot down for this but I think realistically, there isn't really anything you can do about it. I think fans can hound out managers, I don't think they can with owners, not really. I'm not saying it's impossible, I just think it's actually very rare.

 

We just have to hope KP goes tits up ASAP

It’s definitely possible. It just takes a reliance on coordination and the Blue Mongas to follow suit.

Still early days, but I agree with many others that Marti's starting 11 was alarming

I’m not calling for Marti to go just yet because I do think we need some stability at the club and we have to remember the players he is working with - for me the squad isn't as good as last time we got relegated. My expectations were playoffs at the start of the season. However the form were currently in - i am starting to have doubts. The main issues for me are: our strikers aren’t scoring, we offer no threat from set pieces, and while we have plenty of possession it rarely leading anywhere. We’ve yet to see a full 90 minute performance either. And he seems to have stopped selecting academy players altogether - the likes of Nelson, Aluko, Evans should all be getting a place on the bench. I really do think it would take miracle for any manager to get a tune out of some of these players though - Daka in particular is genuinely stealing a living as a professional, he's by far our worst player and seems to get worse every single week. There's a few not far behind him too

Not at all. I see where you were going, but thats only said/thought by the Blue Mongas amongst us

I’m just pointing out that our target shouldn’t be promotion. I actually think it’ll be counterproductive for us. It should be about regaining a club we can be proud of again. That starts by playing players who give a ****. 
 

I’d honestly rather have 11 Ian Hume’s than I would see Soumare, Vestegaard, Faes again.

If he had been backed in the transfer window, then yeah this form would be near sackable.

 

We're desperately light up front, everyone knew we needed to do something to replace Vardy, and we just haven't. Carranza is a "at least he's available" signing if ever I saw one.

 

He's had to make do with a squad who mostly don't want to be here, but nobody else wants. We've got a deduction coming and may not have any money to spend in January. Who's going to be better and want to come in?

These players have been crap under numerous managers.

Marti may not make the best decisions but he is far down the list of issues I have.

if we had a good structure at the club, i mean behind the scenes i honestly think we wouldnt even be in the position we are now, MC i doubt wouldnt even be in charge, we'd be still in the premier league

but the club sat on his arse, thought everything is fine, while we get left behind in every single area in terms of transfer business/scouting etc

 

yes i agree we arent doing as well as we should, im disappointed as the next fan, Im sure MC is pissed off right now too, but this lands more on the door of the players/higher ups than anything else for me
