You saying you prefer rigid pre set routines only?  Players having freedom to take chances themselves is the best type of football.

Sadly in 2025, football isn’t about creative freedom and every team (even in non league) play Pep style football.

I actually hate that fact but relying on players to “take chances for themselves” is what Cooper did and we had no style of play and relied on moments.

Marti is actually a poor man’s Cooper, let that reality sink in 😢

We all know this is simply a must win for us if we wanna have any kind of play off charge.

Lose and Marti has to go, simple.

Draw with this board he’ll likely limp on even though this is the last real opportunity of the year to get rid.

Strongly doubt it.

Based purely on results he’ll be doing enough for these muppets.
Get a decent result against one of your local rivals and it’ll see him into the new year.
We just will not win enough games with him in charge.
I don’t see us winning 3 games on the trot in the league with him in charge and that should be a bare minimum.
It really shouldn’t be that difficult to do in this shit league.

Last few managers have sat around for the pay off despite not adding anything to the club and Cifeuntes being one of them. So much money flying around, the days of one leaving and admitting it’s not working are long gone. The pay off far outweighs the integrity.

He’s at the stage where he’s just a rat alongside a group of other rats around the place. Stealing a living, not good enough. Can’t coach, no tactics, youth development, management style or anything of note but he’ll get his 7 figure pay off sooner or later and he knows it. I would be surprised if he manages higher than league two after this - some of his decisions, tactics (if you can call them that), management etc. have been shockingly bad.

We just have to sit still waiting for that moment, like we have done on previous occasions and hope to god the board fluke someone better.

Really knocks the fun out of this hobby - we’ve had it before in the early 2000s where similar poor choices as managers combined by restricted funds meant every season became a “let’s wait for another season”.

So here is to 2026/27 as this season. We will stay up as just enough quality to deal with the negative tactics and get enough results for that. But it will be a lower mid table finish.

He'll go nowhere because they'll just leave it to this technical director, who won't be here until February at the earliest.

Possibly looked the best we've looked all season and then takes BDCR off for Choudhury and we looks mess.

Even if we pick up 3 points the alarm bells are still ringing with him.

We have to use the squad given the amount of games....he has to use the subs. Apart from a stupid mistake this has been much better.....you cant blame him for players brain farts!

Well done! Still not convinced but he’s slowly improving some issues and this 11 is the best we’ve got. If we play like that every week, we can still achieve promotion

We don't have to be brilliant for 90 minutes just win.

The game was won at 3-0, makes sense to rest BDCR as our only fit 10 for Hamza, nobody can play 90 minutes for 46 games.

Individual brilliance from DCR and Fatawu bailing Marti out.

Players overperforming their xG (cooper's downfall)

Sloppy and giving Ipswich the ball in the second half rather than dominating them.

Cowardly defensive shape.

Musn't be fooled by this. Will he get 6 points against QPR + Watford?

It's not the taking BDCR off, it's the bringing Choudhury on and then inviting pressure on to us.

Yes but we don't have anyone else similar to replace him, Page and Evans are still very young.

This week give him and the squad something to build on. They are clearly playing for Marti which means something. Bar a hideous error by Jakub today it would have been almost the perfect game today.
