yea they are underpforming, Twitter forest want Dyche out and crying about 200 million spent that hasn't improved their squad.

A relegation side doesn't keep a clean sheet v Arsenal this season, they 100% stay up unfortunately. West Ham are garbage - they are down now IMO, only hope was if they beat Forest and they blew it

Was only just this minute listening and agree, Stowell is spot on. And when looking for a new manager, perhaps the hardest thing for me to understand, is the names that would actually consider us worthwhile. Couple years ago LCFC would have been quite tempting for a ot of decent managers. Not anymore.

We're a massive risk. I mean everyone's scared we'll appoint Russell Martin but I think he'd have a pretty good case to steer clear for somebody coming off the back of one, arguably two disasters.

It gets harder and harder for us with each failed appointment.

He might keep them in the league but what's the brief for next season, same again ??
Seeing as this forum is hung up on wages, Forests wages are currently higher than ours ever were after 1 good season of pushing for Champions league to now have a brief of don't get relegated is a bit of a come down.
This is the trouble with short term fix managers, what happens when that initial crisis is avoided, you are stuck until contract end or you have to fire again.
This is basically us caught in a loop of fire fighting at some point we have to stick & see something out....not saying its Marti but what is his brief, what are his plans on future players, will future plans have a baring on style etc etc

I think of Russell the same way as Marty, both middle Championship managers and to be fair to Marty that's where we are. If you give another Championship manager a go it would probably end up the same. There's nothing here for a Premiership manager so what's next? Another gamble? May explain why we've not replaced him yet.

Would Stowell improve us? Not sure if anyone has any thoughts.

Hes part of the reason we are in this mess.

For me now I think it’s Ralph Hassenhuttl who would be my preference.

Again though that’s providing we either sell up or suddenly get a technical director and DOF.

Excellent podcast analysis on WYS. Stowelly doesn't hold back on his criticism, but tbh the analysis shows how inept Marti and the coaching staff are

Stowell really had a go, with being personal he was having a go at the manager. Kingy tapped him up to help him when marti goes?

Life under Aiyawatt.

Wasn't that long ago people on here were turning their nose up at Thomas Frank.

Fascinating stuff on When You're Smiling gonna listen to it again later but highlights the situation and for anyone doubting Marti is the problem, please listen. We improve the second Marti is sacked.

Yep agree.

There are 100% issues at the club and we all know about that.

That doesn't mean the manager shouldn't be sack for being pants.

Yep it is, that doesn't mean the manager isn't also a problem too. But it was them that appointed him.
