Just a boring, nothing squad. A couple of decent youngsters and loan players then a collection of Premier League has-beens and never-weres.

Does anyone else remember the high volume of posters saying that we had a good transfer window?

We’re rotten from the top.

Ramsey and James were decent signings but means feck all when we don't have a striker. We also don't have a decent left back but I suppose at the time, many didn't forsee this group being as shockingly bad as they are, as most of them performed well last time we were in the championship

I agree we are rotten.

In terms of the business, what we did do was quite good but just far too little. James and Ramsey are good additions. Carranza looks poor though. We got some decent transfer fees for players on the fringes or with little time on contracts but again, not enough out given what we have been left with.

I suppose the bar of a transfer window is that if we didn’t fill the squad with more deadwood we will be unable to shift for years and managed to sell a player for a fee, it’s progress lol

I was hopeful that the names mentioned above, Winks, Soumare, Daka, Ayew etc will all leave next summer. However @funkyrobothas kindly ruined this illusion by educating me to the fact we did in fact give Thomas a pay rise to go with the 3 additional years. So it wasn’t even to lower his wages for a sale.

Add that to the fact we voluntarily kept Vestergaard for 3 more years when he was due to leave that summer, we know these lot will all be offered new deals. We are then reliant on as many of them as possible to have some professional pride and want to move on.

Edouard by the way, 3 in 6 in the French top division for Lens so far. 330 minutes so a goal every 110.

One where he wasn’t the problem but indicative of the toxic club that we are?

Just completely reset after this one regardless of any manager sacking.

Nelson HAS to come in for Vestergaard. Just persist with him and Okoli. Faes and Vesty need to be sidelined and have no future here.

Same with Soumare, bin him…literally.

I agree with dropping faes, but vestegaard has been one of our best players this season, woukd be mad to drop him, i'd like to see Nelson Souttar and Vestegaard in a back 3, think it'd be decent

No pace there though.

Vestergaard has been responsible for a few goals against us as well. If he’s been one of our best, fold the club now!

Tbf to Vestergaard, he at least took a wage cut when he signed his new deal.

Still think our most pressing defensive problem is at left back, not centre back.

A bunch of losers.

Overpaid princesses swanning around a ****ing golf course.

But they have the last laugh, earning 80k a week.

The lot need to go . They don't even try to win games.

Might be worth dropping all the players out of contract in the summer.

They clearly don’t want be here, so let’s give game time to those who do and see what happens.

I think the fact they aren't in the top 40 but we are in the top 6 goals scored shows that the quality is there but tactics aren't

I do wonder how much of this is due to Fatawu just being capable of longshots. Charlton at away strikes me as a time where we clearly got away with it. Our average shot distance is 3rd

highest in the league.

Xg per shot is also joint bottom. We can't seem to get any chances in the opposition penalty area.

Well this is the current tactic of asking Fatawu and James to score a worldie every game - our corners are now pass to Abdul and let him shoot

We have no clue how to create a chance - do they have a league table of big chances created?

They know the formula.

Get paid well (no matter how badly you play). Enjoy top class training facilities. Manager will likely get chopped every few months. Rinse and repeat.

It's like kids in a class with a supply teacher. They have no fear of failure and have it cushty.

Perhaps we should consider Patrick Bamford, he doesn’t have a club, free agent currently training with Coventry. More importantly he is an experienced striker, something we don’t have, but desperately need.

Would depend on wages as we are well and truly in the financial mud.
