Pete O’Rourke climbed the mountain to tier 1 on Sunday, now he’s back to being tier 4 in my book.

Can we appoint Neil Warnock, but the contract must include the use of a dressing room cam at half time and full time, which is then broadcast on the LCFC website. Would love to see some of these prima donna's take a right mouthful from Warnock when they've put little effort in. We might not stay up, but at least as fans we'd have some entertainment to look forward to, which is a far cry from what we see on the pitch now.

I would generally take Warnock on a 6 month contract if we are scraping the barrel. Gets the best out of most of his players

There are some in here who are keen for Mowbray but turn their noses up at Rowett.

Truly bizzare.

Id take either BTW

Neither ideal options, both sacked regularly. It’s not bizarre though as both play totally different styles of football with Rowett renowned for pragmatism that isn’t particularly successful. If I was forced to choose between the two I’d definitely go for Mowbray. More experience, plays much better football (his Sunderland were excellent against us despite unluckily losing at the KP when we had Enzo) and he’s not just been sacked by Oxford United!!

Granted it was expected, but wasn’t Peter Orourke the first to stick his neck on the line on Sunday that Marti had been sacked??

it’s him, via footyinsider, that is reporting Coleman

He lost his job at Leuven, so there is very little chance they appoint him. Smacks of when Oscar Garcia was linked, and he wasn't in the frame either.

They're just putting 2 and 2 together and making 5. It's going to be a long few days at this rate!

Yeah don't get me wrong he's more expansive than some, you are right. It's probably unfair to put him in that bracket.

I would be more inclined to give him more than a "until the end of the season" contract than Rowett, Coleman or whoever else appears over the next few days. Mowbray is my number one choice in an absolute shitshow situation we're in - In my opinion the closest we're getting to a Pearson style appointment.

Both ex Middlesbrough centre back vibes. Wouldn't be against Mowbray getting a chance

With our board! Temper your optimism. I'm resigned to weeks of this.

Imagine the throwback of seeing Alan Sheehan and his assistant Richard Stearman on the touchline, then we really would be reset back to 06/07 lol

So what’s happened this season then? Bottom but one and sacked. And the new manager has completely turned them around. Oxford rejects should be rebuilding their careers at league 2. What happened to Rowett at Stoke, at Birmingham at Millwall? Sacked and doesn’t even play good football whilst he’s failing.

I'm by no means a massive fan of Gary Rowett (:D) but he's been a top half Championship manager for the last decade. Improved Brum, Millwall and Derby loads.

His career is basically "takes over a basket case, stabilises them, then the club looks for somebody sexier". We could do a lot worse than have somebody with that experience as an interim.

FWIW Oxford are a League One club with mental directors. Apparently Rowett is stubborn and stood up to them. Again, not something that would be bad at Leicester...!

Most clubs sack a manager with someone lined up within a few days and announced in that time.
These clowns wouldn’t have even started looking until we sacked Cifuentes.
Clueless and incompetent.
The search process consists of typing in google managers in the championship who are available.

I say give the job to Leicester ladies player Alisha Lehmann, at least the players would be focused on her when she was saying anything.

Whether they took anything in about what she said would be a different matter

I don’t know about terrible.

As Sunderland manager

11 4 2 5 13:13 14 1.27

wasn’t the worst record to end up getting pumped so quickly.

as rangers manager

25 19 1 5 57:25 58 2.32

A poor QPR side that were top for a bit

21 9 4 8 26:24 31 1.48

Maybe not results wise but he did some serious David Brent stuff.

he got caught out having a twitter fan account that would post constantly about his tactics and how amazing they were and just generally pumping pr. But eventually got caught out and it was so tragic lol

made  hfaes look sane.

Not optimistic, but Coleman is a joke link - they're not going to appoint someone they let go from our sister club when the stakes were much lower.

Just seen Rowett and Sale moving into Svens old gaff in Burbage.

Callum Davidson and Rory Delap were helping with some boxes.

Coleman is 16/1. Anybody who believes there is something in this rumour has the opportunity to fill their boots.

I don't think we should appoint a permanent manager until we know the points deduction situation. You could argue that regardless, you try to win every game, but maybe some managers are more suited to a relegation fight as opposed to a mid-table re-build.
