The lack of succession planning for any role is massively concerning, taking into account we are also hiring a new CEO, technical director and commercial director and there has been no movement on any front.

Come on now, how could they possibly have a succession plan for a man of the calibre of Jon Rudkin?  He was responsible the greatest Premier league win of all time!!!  Ok it was a while ago now, but really.

Let's see how long spurs take to get somebody.not as long as we do.

I agree, but let's be honest Spurs are a far more attractive proposition than what we are.

Hassenhuttl now joint favourite with rowett. I think Hassenhuttl would be a decent appointment tbh, said this from the outset.

Hassenhuttl 5/2 with most bookies now, Rowett 5/1 everywhere.

Not much, they are massively toxic. We became Spurs after the league win

Plus whilst it’s great to have that decisiveness at board level to sack and hire very quickly, Spurs are not the stick to beat King Power with.

We all know whoever they hire they’ll sack again within 2 years.

Hasenhuttl would be a decent appointment. He seems like a no BS, no nonsense type of manager and it might be just what this shambolic squad needs.

Some egos need checking and he seems the type of character to have the balls to do it

Ralph would be a very sound appointment but it begs the question why wasn’t it in place for 26th Jan?

Rowett would also still be fine.

Because they were hoping King would provide enough of a boost to see us through to the end of the season, when they'd be able to choose from a wider range of candidates.

Or they'd be able to give it him permanently, makes their job much easier and he'd be cheap.

I like Thomas Frank—he did great at Brentford. But Spurs are a toxic club where every manager struggles, so I wouldn’t judge him solely on that. Still, in a relegation fight—especially after that Saints loss—we need someone coming from success, not chaos.

This squad needs a manager who can walk in and credibly say, “I have the answers.” So much of performance is mental. We’ve got the talent, but the mindset around the club feels really negative right now, and rightly so - but if the players and the staff let that continue its only going to produce more of what we saw last night.

For me, Skubala makes the most sense. He’s thriving at Lincoln, he’d bring belief and momentum. Success breeds success. Marti struggled because he’d already struggled at QPR— lesson: don’t a hire failure and expect a turnaround. And if we do go down, Skubala knows League One and could steady the ship.

I think one of my main issues with Hasenhuttl is that 90% of the time he looks as if he's just been privately crying or someone's farted on his pillow.

Is this what we need right now?

It’s imperative that we have a new manager in place in the next few days to work with the lads before Stoke away but I really can’t see that with these incompetent turds at the helm! Kingy is way out of his depth and his decisions along with the players cost us that game last night.

Champions League Football, 60, 000 capacity crowds, far better players, money to spend - that's 4 reasons why they are in a better position than us (Oh and no Rudkin)

There stadium was full of empty seats last night, they won’t have champions league football or much money in future. The squad is full of players who think they are better than they are, lots of parallels! The Rudkin one I’ll take lol
