I honestly think that those who are "in charge" may have thought "Let´s save money by not appointing a manager and assistants, and hope we stay up"

My Chelsea supporting mate was asking me yesterday what the hell has gone wrong. So after going through the headline facts he concluded the club was being run very badly. I tried to explain the club isn't being run at all as far as we know. No communication with the media or fans and can only assume the players and staff are still being paid (we would've heard if not). Totally confused as to what to do now as a season ticket holder. I'm still just about willing to continue supporting the club but have to receive something back in return.

Lost :(

Who are these large groups of fans that support Top and Rudkin? There is a big difference between thinking that protesting and booing own players is self defeating and adding to the toxicity  And thinking the club is being ran well!

I mean clapping and cheering them has worked so far and that’s why they are *checks notes*, 22nd in the league. Oh, wait…

It's like the dead rubber period of Stowell and Sadler in 22/23 which cost us as Smith had no real time after. So same two (Top and Rudkin) have learnt nothing since and even brought back Sadler again.

Won't be Pearson has he has had is fill of KPFC. Sacked him twice, let him walk to Hull once and also sacked him and reversed decision in same night in early 2015.

Won't be Rowett as he has openly criticised bad management in the media in interview last week.

Nobody wants it. We are royally screwed. If Top and Rudkin truly cared for the club they should walk and allow us to heal even if from league 1 as a base.

I know many of us can point to periods where things didnt feel right, but it now feels like that time when it all went horribly wrong with Ruud.  At that time, it felt the club were resigned to our fate.

If feels like that now. Seems the fans want to fight, and the club doesnt.

I can't fathom what the **** they are thinking, it is clearly "we are too good to go down", because that worked out so well last time. We are in absolute freefall and King is not the answer, we need a manager who can get something out of these overpaid bell ends.

It's the lack of happy clapping that's the problem though. If only the fanbase had been more united in clapping happily, all our problems would have gone away! Back the lads. (And that UFS lot can 'eff off!)

Maybe we are waiting for Dean Smith to negotiate and pay his release from Charlotte? Didn't someone say he was keen to come back? John Terry in full kit at seagrave before the end of the week.

The Ruud appointment killed us, should have been Corberan.

That first match against West Ham fooled everyone.

Daka blasting it top bins from an unlikely angle lol

I genuinely believe they won't appoint a new manager and will leave Kingy to try and make a miraculous turn around which , as much as I love him, he is out of his depth in terms of the scale of that task. Marti was sacked on 25th January , clearly no replacement was lined up!

Another thing, this thread on new managers was started in October, yet it took until the end of January to sack him!

No one is going to be in for Stoke are they?

Said it all along Kingy will be in charge for the rest of the season. Then they’ll delay appointing a new manager until a couple of weeks before start of next season.

This is honestly how thick they are.

They seem to believe by leaving King in charge we will focus our attention on him, they are obviously hoping we surely have to get behind him and the noise goes away.

But in reality, bar a few odd people, we all see it for what it is and I for one will not overly criticise King, throwing a club legend under the bus only means people cant point at the manager any more, theres only one place to point. Theyve inadvertently removed their own shield and will turn even more against them. Like I say, thick as mince these 2 clowns.

Can I be the Technical Director

Yup. But I'm not sure how long I'll be in this job, @Pliskinhas just punched a senior member of staff....not looking good people.
