gone very quiet since the top press conference hasnt it.

Literally no update on any positions

Well the Polo had to come first and then something else more important than the club I guess.

Agreed, we should still be at the table though, football is a funny game sometimes. Leeds fans would probably have said Bielsa would never go to them. I do think you're right though.

Why waste our time.

Personally tend to agree with others who think this was thrown out there to deflect criticism at the time especially when it had got pretty personal.

However if it was indeed true then I sincerely hope Aiyawatt and Rudkin have eaten some very large helpings of humble pie and health permitting speaking with Nigel Pearson to come in as Technical Director with full autonomy to completely overhaul the recruitment, scouting, analytics and sports science departments of the club. Won’t happen but if they are serious about resetting then big Nige should be the number 1 target.

Leeds wasted their time and landed a whale, just as we did with Cambiasso who was absolutely miles above where we were. Cambiasso turned down Valencia for us if I remember rightly?
I don't see it as a waste of time, I think we should always be pushing the boundaries of where we sit currently.

Smoke and mirrors by Top he was trying to shut up the supporters. Looks like he has failed

What do you mean 'at the table'?

Even if we enquired, that doesn't mean he's going to want to come? It's a non-starter in my opinion. Not least because of our current status as a club, but financially we're probably so far from what we can afford and what he wants considering he's been at Arsenal...

Smoke, mirrors, tables - this isn't real madrid lads. There's an abandoned shopping trolley (two wheels) and an old milk crate (empty) down near the canal (not empty).

Oh my god, one of Brussell's disciples. How clueless must we be. Obviously just asked Martyn Glover if he knows anyone.

What an absolutely horrific sentence to read

Rudkin played a part in Leicester’s Premier League triumph and has been at the club since 1998, and has helped chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanprahba lead the search the technical director role.

Only need to have a quick look on the Southampton forum to see what they think of anything to do with the way Sports Republic run things

Nothing to even be remotely excited or hopeful about with this guy

Who seriously thought Aiywatt would change his approach and actually apply modicum professional due diligence. The guy is incapable on every level. This was always about taking the heat off Rudkin who, in my honest opinion, will still be pulling the strings whoever is appointed. Best not to get excited about anything that happens under this disgusting regime, they will always be disappoint

Not like LCFC give some info out to a journalist they feed after some fan discontent is it?

If it is, it's not quite the win they think it is lol

Just the CV we want for a technical director

He should at best be head of youth development or that kind of role

The comforting thing is, the decline will continue at pace and sooner rather than later they'll all be gone. I dont care if we never return to the upper echelons of English football either, I just want them all gone. They do not deserve to be here and moment longer and no revisionism should be offered over time of just how much they have ruined us.

Well said, I think you echo the sentiments of many on here and in the wider non-KPFC fanbase. Aiyawatt (I refuse to recite his stupid fvcking pet name) is a virus and I want him gone asap.

Wonder where our last academy director ended up......?

Why not look for a technical director doing well at a smaller club who are being successful.

Bet he does an awesome PowerPoint.

We all in our hearts knew Rudkin wasn't stepping away, this appointment is simply to provide an another scapegoat and give him cover (which he will never get from me or most on here I suspect). Rudkin has almost single handedly been responsible for the horrific recruitment and wage spiral that has brought the club to its knees and close to financial ruin and the little weasel has given him the responsibility for finding his scapegoat, sorry replacement. You couldn't make this shit up.

Probably seen as too ambitious and would actually want to change things

Shit sticks to shit unfortunately. Rudkin and Top won't appoint anybody decent as they will see straight through the incompetence. Another Southampton connection. The Brussell to follow.
