He can’t even get them running 

I might be wrong, but I thought thats what got insinuated and why we went with Cifuentes who was willing to pay half his compensation fee. Quite frightening if so as Wilder hardly comes from a background of wealthy clubs.

You’re spot on! Just checked and Bertrand was July 2021, Vestergaard August 2021 (£15m!!!!)

Honestly thought he would take the role as technical director. Feel they think hiring from

Which is great but that doesn't qualify him for what we need. we need someone with demonstrable DoF experience, not promoting someday to do another job they have no experience of.

We're not hiring a Rudkin replacement though, I bet he'll still be DoF, or at least in overall control.

 

I think they're hiring someone under the 'Technical director' to connect the areas (scouting, contract negotiation, academy, footballing identity.) With Glover, Marti, and Cowley probably reporting into him, under Rudkin.

I know but the technical director’s remit will be a DoF’s role. Sometimes the nomenclature is weird but Rudkin is hiring somebody to do his job for him

Perhaps Rudkin will interview himself by standing in the mirror and wear a fake moustache when he answers his own questions in his persona of Ron Judkin (am sure I’ve heard that name before…).

Been thinking about the Technical Director point really. 

 

18 months ago, it was the reason Graham Potter wouldn't be hired. 

 

Now a defacto DOF/TD is the solution yet despite an interview, Aiyawatt never mentioned it rather it was John Percy who revealed those intentions. 

 

So we are this bizarre club that gives information out to journalists because they don't want the words uttered from an official source. Therefore it all goes Pete tong or there's no development, they can distance themselves from it being a club wish. For evidence, see the post relegation review, reported by numerous journalists yet publicly denied by the club that it ever took place.

Not very cool having a Victorian plumbing logo on your shirts. Perhaps we can go for Victoria's Secret as most stuff seems to be done on the seat of our pants.
