So effing rude!  Calling people clowns because they chose to stay and watch..keyboard warrior.  Some people drive miles to see their team..and it’s their choice to stay.

Yeah I drive hundreds of miles every week to watch people getting paid hundreds of thousands a week to put zero effort in! How is that defendable?!

I'd say the penny has finally dropped at board level.

They have tried to brush it off but a near empty stadium is incredibly damaging to their 'perfect' image.

Can't hide from that.

Someone will be a fall guy a la Marti or they might be forced to sell up now.

Wishful thinking - what will “force them” to sell?

The attendance was well over 28000 but I don’t know whether that is the tickets sold or those through the turnstiles. It often looks well below published figures

Im no maths professor but im sure 28000 haven't walked through the turnstiles today.

I've made up an excuse to not go.

My dad's looking after me mam.

My mate has took his kids to Lapland.

3 empty seats in a row.

Thinking of an excuse for the next game.

There's your chant for the next game.

If anyone can be bothered to go.

Maybe wishful thinking but people not attending is clearly having an effect with statements and board shuffles.

If things get worse which is very likely fingers crossed they may call it a day.

Special shout out to the fans who didn't leave at 3-0 on 32 mins, but started to leave on mass at 2-3 when we looked fairly likely to equalise around 87 mins onwards lol:appl: special breed.

That is the most LCFC thing I’ve ever read. Absolute zombie fanbase.

I wanted to post this after the Stoke win. I sit in the West Stand near the Kop end, and in the 92nd minute the atmosphere was the loudest and most engaged I’ve heard in ages. Fans at the front were on their feet, roaring the team home. Then this absolute t**t of a steward gets up and starts waving his arms like a maniac, signalling for everyone to sit down. That moment summed up everything that feels rotten at the club right now. He didn’t have the sense to realise the fans were caught up in a huge moment, and the absolute m**t completely killed it — a proper jobsworth KPFC w****r. I honestly wanted to go down to the front and ring his bloody neck, but I then calmed down knowing what the consequences would’ve been.

Our mate actually fooked off to Disneyland last minute with his kids to get away today. lol

Wish I was joking, but the punchlines about him seeing less Mickey Mouse write themselves.

We are where we are and have been here many many times , and oddly enough a great season in league one…..I support the club for what it is, not what division we are playing in…..we are not a Premier League club, we are a bog standard championship club, and will be for the foreseeable……Manchester City or Arsenal if you are looking for top four….

The ironic thing is Cliff is saying this while he watches his wife get off with someone

Utterly bemused and saddened after reading Reg Vardy's posts in this thread. We're all different, but crikey. Reg: if you want an explanation, can't understand the impulse to genuflect before KP. They need to do one - sharpish

I always laugh thinking about the clubs people must think we are smaller than if we were truly supposed to be a mid table Championship club. We’d have to be considered smaller than Portsmouth, Coventry, Brighton and Stoke 😂

That might be right, that the difference between then and now is there is an element of entitlement. I haven’t got a clue why anyone would think this set of players are good enough and we should be near the top this season. It’s absolutely right to be annoyed at the long term negligence though.

Honestly do not accept this shit. There's ****ing no way this situation is acceptable. The budget they've had for what's on the pitch is at the very least mid table Premier League and we have an owner refusing to do anything apart from shift the culprit into yet another role he's not done.

They should do degrees in University about how to be a Rudkin Arse Kisser and make your way up a business. It's better than actually doing work. We are absolutely screwed.

My mum's just messaged me saying she's got the pork belly squares from m&s for our annual buffet and I'm not even excited.

The empty seats should embarrass the club. People are not enthused by the dreadful football served up but what about the other factors? The tired looking seats, the dirty roof, the inadequate toilet facilities. We have a tatty stadium that was soulless in the first place.

Chuck in other alienating factors outlined before and it leads to apathy and absence. All self inflicted and nothing to do with entitlement.
