He's always upset with some  player or another  every week but he still plays the ****witts.

The Leicester players should watch the England women's game v China, they could learn a lot about playing for each other, team work, how to score and how to defend.

Talking to friends because they're human

Back in the  day when I played local league football it wasn't uncommon to go for a pint or two in the local pub with players from the opposition.

You can be rivals on the pitch but mates off it.

And you have no idea what they might have been laughing at. Probably nothing to do with football.

They've got a manager that motivates them and generates team spirit and cohesion. A manager with a vision and a plan and way of getting it embedded in her team.

We've got Cifuentes

N’Golo Kante (x2)

Molla Wague

Ben Chilwell

Jeffrey Schlupp

Harry Maguire

Harvey Barnes

Tom Cannon

Game today or certainly the first half reminded me of Wolves 0-3 last season. They were below us then and we then went a load of home games without scoring and defeat after defeat. That was calamitous and we knew where we were going after it, Danny Ward or no Danny Ward. Ruud had only been here a few weeks but the writing was on the wall for him then.

Cifuentes is in more trouble as he’s been here 4 months and clearly can’t get them to put in a 90 minute performance. He’s saying the same stuff and nothing’s changing. Yes we know we’ve got a barrow load of average players who are weaker mentally than most in this division but someone must be able to get a better tune than Marti. He’s too nice. Not what’s needed right now. We can’t sack all the players so it has to be the manager sadly. Hopefully he gets his loan back that he lent us, when he goes.

The only thing we can glean from that second half is that we need to put Winks, Faes, and any other deluded prima donnas that were angling for a move away in the summer on gardening leave and be done with it - que sera sera...

It's true. I remember some brutal games but, at the end, you were all buddies. However I think that when I lost I was rarely in the mood for giggles. Perhaps in the bar later on...

The thing is, though, that these aren't Sunday league players. Many of them have been found badly wanting and they'll be fully aware that many fans will expect them to look as though they care. If they were a set of players who put in a shift week in week out I'd be fine if they didn't worry too much about what a few narky fans made of them, but when your professionalism is being called into question again and again, when the accusation is that you don't give a crap, then if I actually did give a crap I might take the care to show it.

Yeah, actually I can't remember masses of supporters casting a critical eye over Birstall players and getting pissed off if we had a laff afterwards.

We have had several appalling first halves at home in the past 15 months but that topped the depressing list. The first goal was a masterclass in how to do everything wrong- four opportunities to clear the ball, all then worse than the moment before. The second again was everyone crowding into an area and doing nothing.

Just horrible stuff. The ground being half empty 30 minutes in is grim. Yes, the second half was more spirited but we deserved nothing from that.

We are in serious bother. Teams below are improving and we have had a terrible couple of games.

Part of our issue, we now have keeper passing it to defender on the ground, kasper used to be more ambitious and pass to someone already in the opponents half.
Crazy thing is we still fumbling these keeper to defender passes as well, its diabolical strategy.

I would lock them in a room and make them watch goal one and 2 over and over again and call out all the mistakes.

Then play it to the u8s and get their reaction to it and play that to the players! Needs to be highlighted that kids can do better.

Its always good to have an in depth match review from the saff

He's LE19, mate.

That's Braunstone, Enderby, Narborough.

Speaking as a lad who grew up on The Saff, I hope we are all twiddling our cigarillos, smoothing our silk dressung gowns and not posting violent intentions towards blokes for not kicking a ball about as we'd like  lol

Yesterday was evidence of why the fans are so frustrated

We have supported worst teams.

5% of the season the players turn up and put in a performance like the 2nd half, fast play, quick movement and press competing for everything. During these periods the fans get behind them, but this only 1 half here and there or just 15 minutes somewhere. We got that in the 2nd half when the game was already lost

The other 95% of the time the players are waking around the pitch putting no effort in with complete disdain for the club and fans and that is why they are getting booed regularly

It’s not even one or two players, it’s the collective squad and it is shocking professionalism

It’s not like they can’t play and have no talent, it’s is they won’t play
