Clever Fox Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 He needs to show some passion on the sideline which rubs off on the players.

lgfualol Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 We always have a dogshit half a game, not sure what he tells the players. If he keeps Winks and Faes out the team, keeps playing youth, then I’ll think he’s alright, but he’s still out of his depth managing a team that would expect a promotion push
StanSP Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 Needs to do a lot more to change my mind. In game management and subs aren't doing it for me. Can't fault him for how we started today's game so he has to have credit for that. But he threatens to undo all his hard work and the players hard work with 2nd half performances like today's. Did enough in the end but he's got a lot more work to do to change perceptions in my opinion.
whoareyaaa Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 only MON would be a better option, any manager would need time and Marti has started to turn a corner by dropping some senior players and including more youth and then getting a win. PATIENCE is needed. 4
cruzFOX Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 If this is the start of a revival let’s not rock the boat just yet. Give him until after Xmas and let’s see where we land
HankMarvin Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 Nearly had half a season and been abysmal, let’s see if he can use momentum and finish the first 23 games with a run of wins. We are in a shit position because he is tactically inept

fleshdaddy Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 I'm still very much on the fence. Let's make sure we follow up today with a good result in the next game - today will mean nothing if we go and lose the next game. 1

Even with 3 points we are still in 20th for form over the last 10 1

Fox85 Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 Marti would need to win the next 5 games in a row for me to change my mind about him. The next 5 games are. Bristol Away Ipswich Home Qpr away Watford home Derby home. This is not even a big ask but if people want to change their minds over a manager that got his team to play well for 45 mins then that's up to them. The team played brilliant and was 3 nil up at half time until Marti had his team talk with them and the performance dropped off massively. Let that sink in. Win the next 5 games in a row and I would 100% back him. Until then im still Marti out there is no way we should be 14th in the championship 😤 1
AbbeyFox Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 He's took too long to get Soumare, Faes and Winks out the team, especially the latter two, clearly never wanted to be here at the start of the season and should have been binned much earlier. They are both poisonous, shit and mistakes ridden. I still can't stand half of the team but at least when we were under the cosh late on we got blocks in and pressed them and got a good result. Can't believe anyone can be negative about today, comments about our possession stats?? I thought people were saying we need less passing around the back and we got that today. We won 3-1 away and played well. Let's hope they can build on it midweek.

Yeah as the season started, I’m sure you thought yourself if we 14th after 19 games, that’s not too bad. The manager would be doing a decent job. The previous 2 games he has been 3-0 down inside a half twice ever think that made him have no other choice to make the changes to the defence
Jakemoore Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 2 hours ago, Dan said: No. I did wonder at half time if the penny had dropped but the second half was another red flag and tells me in the long run it won't work. Why? We started off really well. Took the game to them and then just controlled it and defended really well. You had to expect Derby to come out and make a game of it. That didn’t worry me in the slightest. It made realise we can defend. 2

How many teams have won 5 in a row so far apart from probably Cov? Have you ever thought his team talk before the match led to the good first half? How many times do you see a team 3 up and then take their foot off the gas? We defended well and got blocks in. I agree we need to build on this, but hardly any team in this league will win 5 a row. And the mess the club has got itself in, could be a whole lot worse than 14th. Did you become a fan in the last ten years I guess? 3
coolhandfox Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 QPR above us tells you all you need to know..... 2

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 Completely depends on what he does with the young lads and Winks etc. I'm comfortable with a middling season if it means we clear the decks and blood the youth prospects. 3

Ive probably or its likely I've been a supporter, not a fan of this club longer than you, however I dont want to make assumptions of someone I dont know. Im saying if he doesnt win the next 5 games in a row he won't win me over, he has a lot of catching up to do due to his abysmal start to being leicester manager. If he hadn't had such a bad start then we wouldn't even be talking about it. But I will not accept a decent 45 mins and everyone jumping on the Marti in train because after he spoke to them the level dropped off again alot. This is somthing we have seen a lot this season. Yes we got the win today which was great but over all Derby was probably the better team we was just more clinical. 5 games 15 points or he can get the boot for all I care, any manager in this league would be begging to manage this group of players infact every manager we have come up against so far have litterally said that. To be 14th in the league is a sackable offence on its own, granted he hasn't been dealt a good hand but he should be doing better around or atleast another 10 points to where we are atm. Good job you're not in charge then. If every club said you're sacked if you don't win 5 a row then they'd have around ten managers a season.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 I still don't rate him and want him gone. It would take us to be very close to the top six by New year for me to think otherwise.
lcfcbluearmy Posted 6 December 2025 Posted 6 December 2025 No never wanted him.out in the first place
