Doesn't the player get a say in things. Sammy has spoken about how he's enjoying it at Newport and wants to help them avoid relegation. After a terrible injury and loan, I think stability is really important for his development.

You mean in real life, or on a web forum?

his loan ends tomorrow, he comes back automatically, the question is are we keeping him here or sending him back out

I think he should go and play top end of league one at least, he’s playing catch up thanks to the injury, but understand lots of the arguments against it.

Got an assist as well… also, worth noting that’s a better corner than we’ve seen from any of our players all season.

the lad can take free kicks and pens as well. He reminds me of a young jimmy bullard haha

I wouldnt be surprised if depending on how serious Ramsey's injury is we are strongly considering bringing one of Alves or Braybrooke back from loan.

You would expect the continuation of Braybrooke's loan to have been announced today considering they are playing again on Thursday and Fuchs didn't seem confident when asked about it after the game.

Alves returned to us for treatment didn’t he? Like Nelson do last season? He’s not back fit yet is he?

Sammy naturally returns doesn't he? Loan contract ends 31/12, so it needs renewing or he is back at Leicester?

Gives us the chance to see what happens in the transfer window. If we manage to get rid of Soumare and Winks then Braybrooke would be on the bench to cover Skipp or JJ. If not then he goes back out on loan either to Newport, preferably as he is settled there, or League 1. You would hope the club have been talking to him constantly about his options and preferences.

The Huddersfield manager said that Alves is back with them before the last game.

There’s rumours of Cardiff

Problem with Cardiff is they're sitting comfortably at the top of the league 3points clear and a game in hand so their midfield is going to be almost impossible to displace so he's very unlikely to get much game time just last minutes subs at most.

That's the challenge though isn't it.

We can't have a player who will be 22 by the end of the season playing in League 2.

This year is prove your worth or sell for sammy... or at least it should be.

I agree, but that's going to be the same challenge when he comes back.

No sure another 20 games at Newport develop him any further, needs to be challenged and pushed against better players.

He's develop needs to be accelerated due to him missing a year.

Disagree with this. Think JJ has taken some decent corners.

Not sure the article says anything new that you couldnt already infer from what Fuchs has already said publicly about Braybrooke.

Does Blackwell have any inside knowledge at the club?

I think Huddersfield would be a good option for Braybrooke, theyre light in midfield due to injuries and he will have a familiar face in Alves there with him.

Did you watch the Derby game? Our set pieces delivery is poor.

Yes I watched the game. I’ve actually watched every game this season live. I do understand  those who attend every game  might see things differently, but I maintain that JJ is pretty decent at corners  and shouldn’t be added into the ‘poor’ bracket.

With you on this. Has a pretty good delivery
