Team picks itself for probably the next two given we play more or less a week apart barring any injuries. Also gives the likes of Ramsey, Monga, Souttar and Antonio? a bit longer to bed in before likely more rotation for the Derby game onwards.

Watford (H) Fri 26-Dec

Derby (H) Mon 29-Dec

Sheff Utd (A) Thu 01-Jan

West Brom (H) Mon 05-Jan

                      Stolarczyk
Ricardo - Nelson - Vestergaard - Thomas

                  James - Skipp

      Fatawu   -   BDCR   -    Mavididi
                           Ayew

Ramsey and Monga

“Good news, finally, [is that] both Aaron and Jez are feeling good,” the Spaniard told reporters. “Aaron has been training at a high level, same with Jeremy. So, if everything goes well, they will be ready for the game.”

Souttar

“It’s difficult to say,” the 43-year-old said on Souttar. “Still he comes from a long injury, so we want to take the right steps. If he keeps on his progress, hopefully in the next few days or weeks I can give you a more accurate answer.

Okoli

“Caleb is a little bit ahead of the schedule and feeling good. Hopefully next week he will join the group. He has already started to do some parts of the training with us. He will not be ready for Saturday, but we’ll see how he feels and how we develops next week.

Soumare

“Bouba is still working in the rehab in the gym and hopefully next week he will start to be on the pitch.”

I really feel sorry for the manager. We finally seem to be getting it right on the pitch, then all this sh&t kicks off! I only hope the players can reman focus and get a positive result tomorrow!

I’m also think we are going to see the result of this off the field negativity on the pitch today. Whilst we have been building something over the games last week, it’s all very fragile.

If we lose today, it is all on Aiyawatt (even more than it is anyway).

The club has announced they’re not paying staff before Christmas as they have previous years. Instead they’ll get their December money at the end of the month, which means lower paid staff might struggle. Sh!tty thing to do, especially announcing it so late, but seems to be typical at the moment.

Top is probably culpable for many issues we have, but l don't think he should take any flak if Stolarczyk punches one in his own net from a corner !

You’re right. That will be Danny Ward’s fault.

If the team goes to shit after improving recently due to the negativity seeping through from off the field then he is absolutely responsible.

None of the players nor Cifuentes are getting any criticism from me today, no matter what happens.

It’s becoming more difficult to support LCFC when the club is owned by these clowns. The same feelings must affect the players to some extent.

This game, and the rest of the Christmas fixture list, hinge on how well MC can get the team to focus and block out the negativity.

Everything is uphill and self sabotaged right now, the antithesis of how to create a successful team environment.

Good luck fellas. If you’re going, please be loud!!
