Well if Bournemouth can get 62.5m for Semenyo that that certainly makes Fatawu a 30m minimum January player and they can definitely afford him.

Looks like a done deal now for 65m. They'll have to cough up about 11m of that to Bristol City, but yeah they ain't gonna be poor and can certainly afford our Abdul....should they want him.

As much frustrating he can be, if we loose him it near enough takes away all of our attacking threat! I trust the club to make the wrong decision as usual

Bournemouth's top target is German international Jamie Leweling who plays for Stuttgart.

I'd argue they've got room for two wingers. Kluivert is out long term again.

The club don't just have results to think about unfortunately. Regulatory compliance with PSR and keeping the club a going concern also feature quite highly on the list of management priorities.

So reading between the lines, Bristol City to sign Fatawu for £11mill!

Done deal.

Guess they will mess about until last day offer £20m and Ruskin and top will jump at it more polo ponies

As bad as they are with most decisions, they've actually stood firm well with our better players at times and I expect them to do the same with Fatawu.

Unless he hands in a transfer request, I think he will go in the summer for £30m+ and alongside the big clearance, we should finally be due the proper reset we need.

We're over a barrel again this transfer window.

We can't really afford without selling. Yet everyone knows this, so will sit out waiting for us to capitulate to lower bids as the window comes to a close.

We want to bring in some loanees. These won't be available until the backend of the window as other teams sort out their first teams, and look to shift out any excess or younger players that need game time.

If we genuinely were considering Antonio, and that's the standard of free we're looking at, that paints a picture of how things are going so far this month.

Basically we're unlikely to see any business til the end of the month, and it's going to be disappointing whatever it is.

Why on earth would you leave Stuttgart for f***ing Bournemouth.

Not even on the bench. He's gone!

Do you know that for sure?  How much are we getting for him?

I know nothing. I'm just putting 2 and 2 together.

Wouldn't expect him to start but at at least be on the bench. My guess is, it's to avoid him being cup tied.

Why would we care if he was cup tied?

I actually think it is pretty common that at this stage of the competition some star players just get left out the squad completely, especially when playing a team 2 divisions lower

Of our players it makes the most sense that Fatawu gets left out so he can finally have a break which he hasn't had all season

Great club, playing in the premier league, one of the best managers in the league and a decent stepping stone for another big move.... Other than that I have no idea

Didn’t Marti say that AF was cramping in his calf after the last game?

He will go IMO. Bournemouth can afford to pay £30m and probably
