I suspect he's more poking fun at our woeful striking options.  Calm down!

It's a pretty cheap dig.

Is it? The only questionable choice is Silko Thomas, everyone else is basically a square peg in a square hole.

Silko Thomas looked good against Derby & deserves a chance.    Way better than watching that cart horse ayew slowing down play.

Silko Thomas obviously stands out, especially with Ayew and Daka available. Wanya and Vestergaard on the bench as well, with the latter arguably our best defender (doesn't say much).

We just can't keep playing Vestegaard. There's no payoff. Who would you have on the bench instead of Wanya? The swamp is drained, there's very little else to pick.

I might take the piss, but joking aside, what else is he going to do?

Ayew has the mobility of a pensioner needing a hip replacement and Patson Daka is Patson Daka. Silko did alright for 20 mins V Derby but I’m not convinced he’s more than an impact sub at the minute, hopefully he proves me wrong.

I wouldn't say he looked good. He ran about a lot but didn't do anything else. Patsons been doing that for 5 years.

Agreed so many have said drain the swamp, Marti does this and is slowly phasing the old guard and people still moan …damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t

Maybe - just maybe - it's not the same people doing both.

I would rather see Thomas not scoring over watching Daka not scoring.

Variety is the spice of life

Bloke gets critised for not dropping an aging and slow player up front, and you're ridculing him when he does just that!  No pleasing some people.

Also watches him in training every day, just can’t please some people

This is basically what everyone has been asking for

Drop Ayew

Bring in a kid

He's not from the academy and it's not Evans

9 academy / youth players is great to see

Should be 10 with Evans

totally agree, although likely to suffer a bit with their inexperience, but tbh I'd rather see what they can offer and hope to see improvement as they play more. The so called senior pro's have been garbage for season after season.

We desperately need energy up front. Silko isn't the answer long term but might be a short burst.

How can you tell? Looked a great improvement to what we have against Derby
