Yea out for the rest of the season, massive loss really.

Staying up should be a priority at this point and building the right management and coaching team for the future.

That's why I think Fuchs would work, brining Saddler back and maybe try and get Walsh in for recruitment, Pearson as DOF would be the dream.

Jesus is that confirmed?

I've just said this in his thread, but I'm not sure King meant it like that. He was listing the timeframe for players but just seemed to suggest James' injury was more long term than Somebody like Skipp who is back next match. He certainly didn't say he was out for the season and given he put a timeframe of March for Ramsey, pretty sure he would have said James is done for the season.

Importantly, and I think this is definitely been misinterpreted (though accept that this is the way I myself am interpretating), he did not say James is out for a longer period of time compared to Ramsey. We'll have to just see how it pans out.

Got a feeling we may see Winks tomorrow, given Kingy's comments.

Hope not, we need standards at the club. Letting winks waltz his way back sets a bad example, especially if he's paired with Skipp.

We are without Skipp and Soumare pretty sure Winks will come back in, hopefully he is committed under King

Doesn't sound that way really

"Everyone else is longer term. Harry Souttar has been out for a while, he won’t make the game. Aaaron Ramsey will be probably March at some point, Jordan James [is] longer term [than Charlton], so nothing new.

Sounds longer than Ramsey the season finishes in April

I don't think the bit about Ramsey is relevant to the timeline of JJ which is why the club have put the part in brackets about it being longer term than this weekend

I don’t think winks playing would be a sign of king ‘letting him waltz back in’ we simply don’t have options available for the game.

My preference would be to play hamza and Page if that’s what we have. But I can see why winks would be considered.

who knows how he’s reacted in training since kingy has come in

Watch the interview... it definitely sounds like he means longer term than Ramsey.

It's right at the start:

Strange that they would then put the annotations into their article about it though, maybe doing that to correct what he said?

Hopefully.

Just didn't sound that way at all with how he said it.

I mean our club tends to have no clue how long players are actually out for

Wouldn't be surprised to see him back next week or be out for the whole season

Would think that’s exactly it. Dont want what he’s said to be taken out of context, easy to assume as James followed Ramsey that one comment related to the other but probably not the case

The question was in reference to the Charlton game so him meaning longer term than Charlton makes sense.

Easy to read into it several ways though, so the fact they've clarified in the text is helpful.

Last game is May 2nd.

I took from listening to King that he meant JJ is out longer than Ramsey but I think the Club adding in the Charlton bit is a pretty clear editorial statement that he did not mean later than Ramsey.

Smoke and mirrors as always with our club when communicating with the fans. Everything is clouded in mystery and you can't believe a word they say. We don't have any idea when JJ is likely to be back as it has not been made clear.

That's how they roll.

longer term still means he's out for quite a while, probably wants to get fit for the Wales game
