Daka purple patch incoming, and I don’t mean he’s been having beetroot juice before bed

You mean he might have a shot on target or manage to stay upright for a couple of minutes ....  or is that to purple

Ah f*** it, I can't not get a bit excited with Kingy in the dugout. Even though I know our team is garbage, I'm excited for a game for the first time this season.
4-1 win, don't care who scores. We aren't keeping a clean sheet - I'll order an Andy King body pillow if we do. :kingy:

Fitness isn’t always the problem, it can be down to motivation and willingness.

Agree

but for whatever reason, we’re not fit enough

that can also come from a lack of motivation and willingness

Any boost will be worth it.

At least King was willing to talk about it.

I'm a petty man. I care more about Nathan Jones losing than us winning tomorrow. Rancid little man. G'won boys!

I read that quickly and thought you said "I'm a pretty man. I care for Nathan Jones".....

He was just a bit salty when we beat them at their place making a comment about Fatawu not being at Leicester by the end of the week (the summer window was still open).

Well I thought my predication of 1-1 was a negative outlook last week but turns out it was overly positive!

After last week, and with the injuries we have, I just can’t see how we get anything from the game, even with Marti gone. Charlton will come here confident, as favourites. As long as they work hard, the 3 points are theirs, let be honest.

We’re odds on to win with most bookies. You can get 3/1 for a Charlton win.

We may have a new angle on management today but still no leaders out on the pitch. Winks may have some big game experience but if part of leadership is about setting standards he’s from from being one.

Concede a goal and we crumble, like Oxford, Charlton will be smelling blood, we’re vulnerable and there for the taking.

The hope is that there will be some kind of new manager bounce, players weren’t putting 100, sorry 10% in for Marti, also they looked stifled or frustrated and confused by his “system” and weren’t supported by any intuitive substitutions to change games or swing or maintain momentum.

Could be a pivotal day for the season and future or a continuation of the horror show - I can’t see where the required fitness and leadership can come from in six days :dunno:
