markko Posted 14 July Posted 14 July When he first came here, he was a breath of fresh air. A real character. If he has become less valuable, LCFC has done that to him. I wish him all the best. We need to sell. Maximise what we can get and that means not selling to Italy or Turkish clubs who seem to have less money than Oadby Town!
Fox 66 Posted 14 July Posted 14 July If and it's a big if, we can somehow keep him we can treble what's being offered in 2 years time. Has to be coached right and drilled in to him about (how) and (when) to play that decisive pass.

The big 3 spend an absolute load of cash, not sure why everyone thinks they don't 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 14 July Posted 14 July 17.5m feels about the right fee for Abdul, surely someone will pay this.
FoxinNotts Posted 14 July Posted 14 July Would he want another crack at the Premier League - I think so! He was injured for must of our campaign. A newly promoted team? - Ipswich, Hull ? Sunderland? Someone will with £20m for him
JonnyBoy Posted 14 July Posted 14 July surely we hold all the cards, IF we don't have to sell with Monga money being pure profit and maybe sell WInks and Faes (we can hope) for some fee and some others, our hand may not be forced.. or certainly hold out for 17-20 million He still has a contract until 2029

Turkey could very well be a lure for him, warm weather, plus the money he could earn out there, I'm sure he has been in touch with Ndidi as well to get some idea of what it is like there I wish him well, I genuinely do, i have said on a previous post that he is a victim of his surroundings 1

Popular Post Claudio Fannieri Posted 14 July Popular Post Posted 14 July (edited) Got to be honest if I was Everton, Leeds, Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford and any of the newly promoted sides I would be all over signing Abdul for £15m + would be a relatively low risk signing with lots of upside potential. Tommy Fresh Posted 14 July Posted 14 July At most it'll be like El Khannous where he potentially plays 1 or 2 games for us and then leaves towards the end the window 2

I'm just saying it'll end up with him requesting to leave and end up waiting at a Paris airport for a destination. Mahrez got nicknamed Viktor Navorski and can see Fatawu doing something similar

Clearly he wants to leave (and who can blame him), but I don’t want anyone playing for us who doesn’t want to be here, it’s counterproductive for both sides. I remember El Khannous being hauled off at half time early last season because he was just strolling around, going through the motions. We’ve had enough of this sort of thing in the last few years and it needs to stop, regardless of how good a player is. 2
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 14 July Posted 14 July Can see this ending up around £15m with a heavy sell on clause.

JimJams Posted Thursday at 15:58 Posted Thursday at 15:58 Think we can get £20mill from them. So tell them £25mill. They might be desperate enough. Paid that for Hutchinson who was statistically weaker at Champ level. 2
Lambert09 Posted Thursday at 16:03 Posted Thursday at 16:03 I would be surprised if all 3 promoted sides didn’t come in for him tbh 1
