You have to remember he is not a league 1 player yet.

 

He is a outstanding championship winger with some premier league experience.

 

I think we will get 25 million and a 30% sell on fee on profit made as that seems to be our current sell on fee sale this season

This would be unbelievable business and I’d immediately be won over by McCarron- I think it’ll probably be around 17/18 with another 2/3 in realistic clauses and a smaller sell on, but I would be so happy if you were right

He got a tonne of goals and assists last year in a garbage team, is 22, and played all but 2 league games last season. I don't think sides will be put off by his injury.

 

If we didn't get ourselves bloody relegated we'd have every right to demand ~£25m. As it stands I think we'll settle between £15-20m and I think that's a bargain for the prospective buyer.

If we can push the fee close to £20m, I think that’s about right. It means we will make a net profit of around £6m on the original fee we paid.

 

Furthermore, it gives us an even healthier swing on the accounts. with around £9m already amortized, we would book an £11m accounting profit in this current financial period.

Oh, hopefully we get £20m+. 

I'm just factoring in his injury, clubs know our financial issues, now League 1 & his return of 9 goals & 7 assists in 43 starts, last season wasn't great (yes, in a very poor side tbf).

I'd love us to get a Harry Maguire type deal, l just can't see it
