Past getting behind players, what an awful signing to add to the list of Vestergaard,  BDR, Ayew etc etc.

Laughing stock this club - cant wait until my season ticket runs out.

Desperate for a left back and a striker and we end up with this clown. Don't even see how he gets in the side, especially if winks is back playing.

Just because he can't make the Southampton team doesn't mean he can't be decent for us.

Hate to be that guy, but thats pretty much exactly what it means.

Some of this bed wetting on here has really gone over the top.

We’ve signed;

• A versatile midfielder.

• Who has a lot of experience at the level we’re at.

• Has won things.

• Is a full international.

• On a short term, relatively low cost and low risk deal no transfer fee, no long term wage commitment).

• A player, who given their contract situation, may view this opportunity as providing him a crucial shop window to securing a better deal from the summer onwards.

For our current scenario, this is a worth a punt, see what happens, deal.

Sounds like a promo for Jordan Ayew, apart from the wage/contract part.

As much as I agree with your theory, I think everyone has just seen this movie before

It’s a crap signing. Let’s not pretend it’s anything other than that - Saints are laughing at us. The same way we would laugh at any club from this league had they bought Soumare.

Yep. Track records matter. They've been spot on about all of the rest of the dog shit we've relieved them of so I'll trust them over proven failures like those responsible for our transfers.

Our entire 'process' is just waiting for the agents to give us whatever they've got left over. Lucky dip. Lost property.

It's a joke of a signing. Almost eerie similarities to what our fans say about Soumare. Big wages. Not a priority position.

Completely done with pretending this will be anything other than a shit signing.

Hamza Choudhury is all of these things.

Just what we needed - another geriatric that's even slower and less energetic than Soumare to hamper the progress of Page whilst on a Premier League wage.

Not a single Southampton fan has a good word to say about him.

I'm now convinced Rudkin and Glover only know 2 squads worth of players between them. Those squads being Leicester and Southampton.

Steven Gerrard once heaped praise on Aribo for an emergency left back performance to be fair…..

Sheff Utd who are lower in the table then we are, are getting Kalvin Philips, and the best we can do is Joe Aribo. Glover should follow Rudkin out the door.

Yeah, I said it last year, Glover should be gone as well. Scouting and recruitment is shocking.

We're very obviously not paying all of that

I think it's very likely that we would be paying all of his wage. When has this club ever shown that they're able to negotiate when it comes to wage structures?

He can’t even make their matchday squad !

He might prove to be a decent signing hence why I said I would reserve judgement.

Be honest are you excited by this signing?
