Love these sorts of posts!! Completely out of nowhere

Is he any good with his feet?

According to AI "Celton Biai is a ball-playing goalkeeper known for his composure on the ball and his ability to act as an extra passing option for his team."

Never heard of him tbh but ex Portugal youth and hopefully should be able to kick without sticking it into the stands!

Interesting. He's good with the ball at his feet from what I gather so would fit our profile.

It always amazes me, the amount of time we seem to take to implement our transfer strategy.

To quote Roy Keane "that's his job" - Whoever that is, has a very privileged position. A job many, many people would absolutely love.

For the love of god, get on with it!!

But is he any good at keeping the ball out of the net?

So going to do a bit of a thread on here over the next few days with regards to potential targets if anyone is interested. Always loved scouting, so thought I would do a bit of a project, scouting every position barring right back for a Russel Martin system. I will post them by position group and rank them in order. I scouted leagues which I feel are realistic for us to buy from and only used players that are realistic in price, market demand and under the age of 26 for sell on value. The leagues I scouted are Swedish Allsvenskan, Belgium Pro League, Austiran Bundesliga, Czech First League, Scottish Premiership, Norway Eliteserien, League One and League Two.

Cursory Google suggests he's actually relatively competent at that too – seems to rank fairly highly amongst Eerste Divisie keepers

Freckleton signed for LASK today.

Like the Eriksson shout. Scandinavia is littered with ball-playing centre backs, especially in Sweden and Norway.

Huge shame that, it was very close between him and Eriksson for my favourite centre back. How much did he go for?
