Bo Hegland, Norwegian U21 attacking midfielder/second striker with a bit of everything to his game.

Didn't play much for Djurgardens because they filled their quota for foreign players and they failed to get the European places so might be looking to sell.

Quite tall. Similar build and style as Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Let’s hope the comparisons end there.

Looking at ball-playing centre backs who excel in progressive passing. Russell usually likes at least one of his CB’s to be a good progressive passer, I believe when at Swansea and Southampton, Cabango and Harwood-Bellis ranked high in that statistic.

Some experienced and younger options that should come under £1 million, Almeida is currently a free agent…

Not much happening anywhere because of the world cup.

I’m sure that’s not the real reason why we haven’t done jack yet.

Or the fact that there is a 65 percent salary wage cap (which include coaches and manager) related to limited turnover

New DoF, what has he done? In post for a few months now and all we've done is appoint an unemployed manager who we've been itching to appoint for about 3 years.

Semper Eadem.

All he’s likely done is regretted taking the job in the first place.

What do you think your turnover will be this season.  Argyle have set a playing budget at 10 million

Only two clubs in League one yet to sign anyone. Peterborough and Cambridge four each.

From the Percy article

We need it but I just cannot see us getting that many in

Leicester are targeting a number of other signings, with up to 11 incomings expected if the club can offload many of their existing squad.

With James McCarron, the club’s new sporting director, leading the transfer strategy this summer, Leicester will listen to offers for almost all of their players to raise cash and help comply with financial rules.

So basically we won’t be signing that many because we’ll struggle to get rid of players

Drain the swamp. Get the offloading of the high earners going. How have we not figured this out yet.

Because no one wants shit players on high wages, hence  having to pay up Vesterguard contract

I understand its hard to sell players, who has not performed and are on way to high wages. I really do. I am not expecting profits.

But we need to learn to cut our loses and find ways to thin the squad for high earners. Its been suffocating the club for seasons now.

Maybe the club really is trying everything and its just not possible, but as communication is at an all time great, we willl never know. But if I had something suffocating my business, I would to absolutely everything to change it. And thats not the feeling I get with the leaders at our club right now.

Really come on this year. I prefer Caputo but that’s admittedly that’s personal bias.

Have to remember these Aussie kids are playing in the middle of summer as well. It’s hard work out in the A-League, it’s hot, it’s very physical, and the CBs are all 30+ year olds who are happy to run through you.

Marcus Younis would be a good Championship player and probably should’ve been at the World Cup. He’s back at Brondby after his loan spell finished but he’s someone who just needs game time and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He’d be far and away the better choice over Taylor and I don’t think he’d mind the fact we’re in League 1. 20 years old, 8 goals in 15 from the RW.

I’ve also unbelievably omitted Okon-Engstler but he’s definitely not coming to a League 1 team.

Paul Okon-Engstler off to Koln for €1m.

I can promise you that’s an absolute bargain, he has had a brilliant World Cup. 21yo and will be a mainstay in the Socceroos for years to come. If he performs to his potential, Koln will be making a nice profit very soon

McCarron, if you are reading, there are bargains to be had down here

Realistically I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more when all said and done. I could see the following being needed:

2x centre back

1x left back

2x centre mids

Connor Chaplin

2x left wingers

2x right wingers

1x striker

Danny Ings

I think that’s going to be a minimum need. I wouldn’t be shocked if they brought in 3 strikers if they don’t think any of the young lads are ready.

I just can’t see us shifting enough to need this many incomings, or being able to afford it.

You’d certainly hope a few more will leave if we can get rid of Jannik and Victor. But so far it looks like we will still be stuck with the likes of Hamza, Skipp, Mavididi & BDCR for another year

Stolarczyk / Vieites / Bausor

Nelson / Faes / Okoli / Wilson-Brown / Gray

Choudhury / Aluko / Thomas / JJ

Skipp / Winks / Braybrooke / Page

BDCR / Mavididi / Alves / S Thomas

Ings / Evans / Otchere / Hutchinson

1 - GK(If they feel Stolarczyk doesn’t fit Russell’s style)

3 - CB(Presuming Nelson, Okoli, Faes, Souttar and Vestergaard all leave)

1 - LB(Kristiansen replacement)

1 - CDM(If Winks and Skipp both leave)

1 - CM(Jordan James replacement)

1/2 - CAM(Chaplin + one more depending how Russell views BDCR & Alves)

1/2 - WG(Mavididi replacement if he leaves, could also depend on BDCR & Alves)

2 - ST(Ings + a much needed starter)

Personally I think we’ll need between 11-13.

That number will probably include 5 loans and a few free transfers. If we do have any budget, then it should go on a starting CB and ST imo.
