People the other day were carving up how we could spend any potential cash coming in from sales.

 

I'll be astounded if we spend any more than £1-2 million on actual transfer fees, in fact I'd be shocked if we spent anything at all. Have a feeling it'll be eerily similar to last summer, few loans at the arse end of the window.

Tbh without sales we can’t really compete, Wednesday have a fresh slate and need to fill the squad and owner wants a statement signing

They are still having to work with transfer restrictions, they aren't going to be throwing a lot of money around

Left him till last as he intrigues me the most. Played a few times for Hull City last season where he caught the eye, including in the FA Cup against Chelsea. Much like Tom Sparrow, he has been very much used as a utility player, has played at centre-back, full-back and in central midfield. This was from an article on the Hull City website… I saw him playing as a centre-half, but Cathal could have played in any position really. He could have played right-back or left-back as he was comfortable on both feet. I wasn’t surprised to see him playing in midfield when you were in Türkiye as nothing phases him. If you said to him you’re playing in the number 10 or left midfield, he will give you a 10 out of 10 performance; he is that sort of player. Versatility is part of his game and he is comfortable on the ball and his composure to take it in tight spaces is incredible.

 

I fully expect Hull to loan him out this summer, the type of player he is, he could well fit an inverted role.

He played in over 35 tournament at gng over the weekend. Hardly prep for a professional trial

I'm sure he's probably been mentioned but in the many obscure players from foreign leagues post but Tomáš Bobček managed the feat of being the top goal scorer in the Polish top flight and get relegated, so a move will be on the cards.

Based on how all of our managers have spoken in the last 5 years, I imagine Martin is still in the being lied to by the board stage.

 

It's not usually until after the window closes that it becomes clear we were never going to sign anyone anyway.

A great shout, but I reckon he'll end up in a higher league than ours and probably for at least £2-3m.

Bo Hegland, Norwegian U21 attacking midfielder/second striker with a bit of everything to his game.

 

Didn't play much for Djurgardens because they filled their quota for foreign players and they failed to get the European places so might be looking to sell. 

 

Quite tall. Similar build and style as Gylfi Sigurdsson.
