We'll get a 2 point relief on the original sanction and then a further 6 point deduction from the PL appeal. The club will call it a victory highlighting the 2 point reduction and ignoring the further 6 point deduction. Rudders and Bottom at the wheeel!

Top really does live in this world where him and his Dad deserve to be these immortal humans forever and everyone must bow down to everything they have done.

Then when they started to be shown for what they are, the petulance started. Everything is someone else's fault. They dared to dream. How dare we be questioned in anything we have done for you peasants.

This is just the latest in a long line of disastrous decisions that will end up with us gone.

Most likely the club knew the PL would appeal the decision not to sanction us for the late submission, and launched our own appeal to counteract the PL’s appeal.

Most likely. This is a shambles that just keeps going and going and going and going....

Should own it really, take our medicine and move on. Hopefully we won't get an extra deduction for spurious appeals.

No, and multiple cases of it being decreased (Forest and Everton). Most likely scenario is to get it to say 4 points which could be crucial in avoiding relegation.

That's what I suspected and I wouldn't have thought an additional points deduction could be applied for late submission of accounts as that would've happened already to many other clubs.

Fan annoyance of King Power is understandable but in this case it might be the correct action when legal advice affirms it. I suspect the retrospective question will be brought into play.

Surely one day a club will have their deduction increased after appealing. Unless the formalities always are you just appeal no matter what.

I'm assuming we only got 6 points cause the league are genuinely worried we'll get relegated.

I know PSR has it's issues but, really, it was probably brought in to protect fans from owners like Top (and Rudkin). People who are so inept and clueless that they spend money they don't have instead of running the club properly.

We’ve got a couple of idiotic leaders who don’t have a clue. Anything possible

Assuming we lose our appeal and the PL win theirs regarding late submission of accounts, is there a guideline for how many points deducted that would be?

There’s no way they will be able to add on another 6 points for only appealing one of the rules broken surely.

From ChatGPT ...

Direct late filing cases

Clubs have also been penalised more specifically for late submission of accounts to governing bodies or Companies House. In most cases:

  • The penalty has been fines,

  • transfer embargoes, or

  • suspension of registration rights,

rather than automatic points deductions.

However, under EFL regulations, failure to submit accounts on time can lead to a points deduction if deemed a serious breach.
