Would have liked to see Richards given a go up front. But considering 3 of our attackers are under 19 years old I can sort of understand putting Ayew there with some experience. But hope this is one of the last times we see him starting a game for us.

We're just the kind of team that will field and ineligible player.

Never underestimate Leicester City football club.

The rules have changed.

People might actually take it a bit serious if the manager does but picking ayew in a game we don’t really need to win automatically puts people off again . I never want to see the lazy c*** play for us again

What is the point of Vieites. Cant even get in the squad for the cup games. Old man begovic on the bench. Pointless. Ayew starting is a disgrace

That could actually be the worst team we’ve ever had

Well, we are at least playing two full backs today. One has some strength, one has some speed. The usual pair have neither

Yeah let's start Daka and get him injured in a meaningless cup match and then have no choice but to play Ayew for the rest of the season

No.

Start Richards there.

We never learn.

Ayew and Daka are not strikers.

How many times will we persist with playing one of them upfront.

Daka was actually good last game and then King drops him for ayew. Stupid decision

So why not play him and Monga on the wings?

Start as many of the young lads as you can, this is probably one of the fixtures in our history that not many, if not all, of our fans genuinely care about, so why on earth is Ayew still starting up top

Blows my mind

Yeah - i agree. I presume this comes under the point if having a mix of experience and youth out there.

But in his interview he made himself out to be a 9. Would loved to have seen him start today.

The only reason can be that Daka played well v Saints, and he’s probably being rested for the league? We literally don’t have another first team striker.

But I think survival this season - and possibly our existence or at least not going bankrupt and sliding down the pyramid - depends on Musaka. He’s very very good, and I’m not sure I’d be wasting him on a cup game.
