I'm always amused when "always back the lads" is touted as a badge of genuine support. I'm 100% certain that when I smile, the whole world does not smile with me. The "always back the lads" line is not some sort of commandment that I have to follow religiously. They are songs sung in football matches, along with many other songs containing hyperbole, inaccuracies, and more than a touch of artistic licence. I'm a fan, but I reserve the absolute right to express frustration and dissatisfaction.

Yea also the two factions are not mutually exclusive. Can you not both be frustrated etc but come kick off ‘back the lads’? The latter faction are a few pence short of all those pounds we’ve wasted on shit players

Exactly. I for one question if Leicester City FC are in fact by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.

Vardy definitely did speak to Arsene Wenger and to chat shit, get banged though. Let it be known

The whole club is a shrine to his dad.  He aint selling

This is the issue. Personally I can’t ever see him selling up because of this.

For me it's about a huge vote of no confidence in the decision makers at the club. 2 1/2 years ago when they eventually mentioned the first relegation it was a case of don't worry, the clubs security and future is safe, the ship was visibly sailing in the wrong direction but there was that crumb of promise that whilst it will likely get worse before it gets better the core club is safe. We are currently still sailing in the wrong direction but now the hull is cracked and the ship is clearly sinking, in the relegation zone with a team who can't keep a single clean sheet or a CF who can contribute goals on a semi-regular basis and no manager. The ongoing finances are clearly nothing like secure and mentally the players are shot and need a psychologist desperately. Who was behind the decisions that lead us to this? The contracts, the signings, the managerial choices. Do you want those same people to make the next decisions? I'm all for having faith but I know an iceberg when I see one and we're staring one in the face. Jump ship (some have but not an option for some), change direction or go "ooooh an iceberg" clap, clap, clap, like lemmings off a cliff?

I think if this is the new manager's first home game,  would postpone for another week. The atmosphere would need to be uplifting and treat it as a fresh start of new era.

Be honest, you are not pro the protest anyway. It has been made clear the protest is outside the ground and before kick off, there are no plans for protests inside the ground at this stage so what exactly is your problem.

The board are definitely going for the ‘too good to go down approach’ just like 2-3 years ago.

I can however confirm that there was indeed a circus in the town, Robert Maxwell did drown and Derby County did go down, however I do not have access to 86 year old Arthur Cox’s medical files to confirm or deny any allegations regarding chronic bacterial infections 😳

With the club in such a precarious position and with new manager I would like to suggest this is a bad bad time for any kind of protest and it should be delayed to the end of the season..

But hey 👋

How would actions outside the ground have an impact on the players?

You don't know neither do I.. but quite frankly any issues or no matter how pissed I am with the club at the moment pales into insignificance to what potentially could happen

The club being in such a precarious position is the reason people are having to protest in the first place.

There's never a good time for it because nobody wants to have to do it. It needs to happen because it's now the only way we can save our club before it's too late.

Fine its just really bad timing
