We've taken 14 points from the last 14 games, but we're in the worst form of our season at the moment (7 points from the last 10 games, 1 from the last 6). So, unless there is a major shift in the momentum of the team, I can't see us getting anywhere near 18 points from 14 games! Looking at all the different stats available for attacking and defending, we haven't been unlucky or performing well and not getting results, so we aren't going to suddenly outscore opponents or start keeping clean sheets.

Bar an absolute miracle this is the case, we have defenders who cant defend. Our best hope would probably be to find a way to play like we did in the first half again Southampton. The big problem with that is we are not fit, so we would need to manage that as I think what happened against Southampton is we were knacked 2nd half, especially at the end.

If we do get relegated, then we certainly won't be in a position to repeat our last League 1 season. Which means that we'll be almost guaranteed to have the lowest league finish in our entire history (if we don't go into liquidation first...). And just a decade after the fairytale season winning the PL.

We're going to need a statement/unexpected win in the next 3-4 fixtures to give ourselves the belief again, I fear. There's points on the board that we should be more than capable of taking in the run of fixtures after Ipswich, but with these players... It's an uphill battle, that's for sure.

I wouldn't put money on us surviving, lets put it that way.

Special liquidation edition, highlighting all the great years!

I’m laughing but it’s really not funny 😔

This team doesn't have it in them, there's no fight, there's no willingness, there's usually just excuses on the pitch.

Second-worst defensive record, there's no defending that obvious issue. And no manager has ever addressed that since Maresca left.

Player recruitment in recent years has been mostly atrocious. Shades of money laundering, if you ask me.

Add the shitshow that is our managerial merry-go-round.

We're unstable, debt-ridden, have seen the first points deduction ever, have no leader on or off the pitch (we only have one able player, and he is injured).

Apart maybe from the start, we've sabotaged our own season for most part.

This club has become a farce, layered with ineptitude on pretty much all levels, and is being run into the ground by unprofessional, careless clowns.

In short – no, I can't see us win six games out of the last 14. Because that'd mean us winning almost every second match. At best, given this season's record, we're looking at three to four wins.

That won't be enough.

Any manager who comes in should demand payment up front as I wouldn't trust the club to honour anything if we get relegated. I just don't see where the points are coming from at the mo, especially with James out, every club knows to attack down the left and its likely they will score a few, when they are bored of that they can attack down the right and score a few more...feckin dreadful both sides

If they are bored of that they can just attack through the middle against Okoli

It's ****ing bleak. Genuinely not sure where we pick up our next point from, let alone win.

Feels like the rest play each other a lot in the meantime. Just have to hope they take points off each other.

Portsmouth have two tough games for their games in hand and they simply don't score enough. That's the only real positive I can see.

Pressuambly 52 was our lowest points tally in the second division since the move to 3 points for a win and 24 teams in the league? We won't match that.

More records for King Power! Thank you!

Even without the points deduction we'd stuggle. With the deduction, we need 7 wins out of 14 to get 21 points!

We are in a downward spiral and it seems unstoppable.  We have become indoctrinated to defeat.  We always find a way to lose - red cards, missed penalties, conceding early goals.

If the opposition won't beat us we'll do it for them.  If we had scored 4 against Southampton at home, we would have found a way to concede 5.

Okay.

We are still manager less and look about as ruder-less as a ship without a captain.

2nd worst defence in the league, but we have scored more around us, largely thanks to Fatawu, Reid and James.

We are in effect, 3 points adrift of safety though, as Portsmouth have a few games in hand.

We can get ourselves out of this mess but we need to stop actually conceding goals.

I think we’ll need to the 50 mark to be safe, albeit with how bad Sheffield Wednesday are and the teams around us are still to play them, then it’s  maybe going to be 52ish.

We are currently on 32 points with 14 games to go, so we need to find 18 points. Thats an average of 1.28 points per game (PPG). Our current for is 0.2 PPG, so we have work to do.

The teams around us in the mix for relegation are likely Sheffield Wednesday, Oxford, Portsmouth, West Brom, Blackburn, Charlton and maybe Norwich. I think we were in this conversation as well, even before the points deduction.

Looking at the teams we have left, the remaining fixtures are :

Stoke - A

Middlesborough - A

Norwich - H

Ipswich - A

Bristol - H

QPR - H

Watford - A

Preston - H

Sheffield W - A

Swansea - H

Portsmouth - A

Hull - H

Millwall - H

Blackburn - A

Where are we getting those 18 points then?

I know we’ve lost our last 4 matches but I’m still looking at the positives. First two games and two red cards- we’re likely to lose with our record.

next game we manage to score 3 goals and get to 61mins before crumbling.

Rematch against them and we came out fighting and their goals seem to have been against the run of play. This is a match which we could have been blamed away after what happened midweek against them.

With our loan signings, I genuinely feel we have more aggressive and attacking intent.

Here’s my predictions on the basis that we get James and Lascelles back after the next four matches and everyone else stays fit ( I know that’s a big IF)

Stoke - A.                           1pt

Middlesborough - A.        0pts

Norwich - H.                      1pt

Ipswich - A.                       0pts

Bristol - H.                         1pts

QPR - H.                             3pts

Watford - A.                       0pts

Preston - H.                       1pt

Sheffield W - A.                  3pts

Swansea - H.                     3pts

Portsmouth - A.                1pt

Hull - H.                               0pts

Millwall - H.                         0pts

Blackburm -A.                    0pts

That’s 14 points - not sure if it will be enough but it’s possible

Two simple things to do.

Move back to Belvoir Drive, mothball seagrave immediately. Sends a message.

Take down 'Foxes never quit sign' before trading standards fine us.

Maybe we could run Citygrave commercially?

Genuinely cannot believe that there is no new manager in place right now.

We deserve to go down through the sheer incompetence being shown each and every week.

Then, it'll be curtains for us.  Costs amounting to more than the club is worth.

People talking about multiple wins, we concede goals in every game, to win games we need 2 or more goals, we have a waddling duck at CF, our goals come from spectacular strikes from Fatawu and Oliver Skipp if he's watched a Pele documentary the night before. The goals from James are now missing, our only hopes are that Mukasa and Richards have something about them that the others don't. Maybe a defence with Aluko, Lascelles, Nelson or Souttar and Kristiansen will be an upgrade and possibly could keep a clean sheet or two, unless that happens it's too big an ask every week to try to get wins when you start games with an xg against you before a ball is kicked.

Unfortunately even with a new manager in (here’s to hoping) it’ll be a miracle if he can organise the defence so we don’t concede, being hard to beat is the key but our defenders are just so poor, technically and have no positional sense. I expect us to concede a minimum of 2 goals every game so let’s hope we can score a few goals.
