The question in my mind is now switching from if, to WHEN we go down to League 1, can the club actually survive?

The answer to that is no, we won’t. This football club financially is still operating like a PL club….. the amount of money we will be losing at league one level will see us instantly breach their FFP regulations. This is a one way ticket to going bust.

If we go down to league 1 I can't see us coming straight back up

I think we'd definitely need new owners and probably 3 / 4 years to straight stemming this tide of decay

These players really don't give a ****.

It doesn't hurt them at all - way too perfunctionary to put in atrocious performance after atrocious performance and pick up a huge hefty cheque for continued sheer incompetence

Can’t score and can’t defend! Every team that we play against let’s us have the ball and when it gets to Okoli they press us knowing he is so so shit they know it’s going to be gifted to them somehow.

Why persist with this 4231 with feeble and half arsed players and wingers who have been found out. Bin it and try something basic like a 442 to try and galvanise them and nick a win!

442?  We haven't got one striker, let alone 2.

That's just not true and it let's them off the hook.

Almost all of them have played and proven themselves at higher levels but there is a malaise over the club and a general lack of fcks given by these mercenaries that are just seeing out their contracts.

This squad should be challenging for promotion.  Rudkin stitched us up before a ball was kicked by thinking we Could get bywithout a proper striker but it is a scandal that a £150m squad gets relegated from the championship

The squad is listed below.

I've highlighted the players who I think might be described as have 'played and proven themselves at higher levels'.

I think I've been incredibly generous in terms of what 'proven' means, and also wrt when some of them last did whatever it might mean.

Can you tell me who I've missed, because it's a long way off 'almost all of them'?

     Jakub Stolarczyk
     Fran Vieites
         Asmir Begovic
         Caleb Okoli
         Harry Souttar
         Jamaal Lascelles
         Jannik Vestergaard
     Ben Nelson
     Victor Kristiansen
     Luke Thomas
         Ricardo Pereira
    Olabade Aluko
         Harry Winks
         Oliver Skipp

Choudhury  (when I said generous, I meant it)
     Jordan James
     Joe Aribo
     Michael Golding
     Louis Page
         Aaron Ramsey
     Divine Mukasa
        Bobby De Cordova-Reid
    Jeremy Monga
        Stephy Mavididi
    Abdul Fatawu
    Wanya Marçal
    Patson Daka
        Jordan Ayew
    Dujuan Richards

This season is draining the fu$k out of me, the season cant end quick enough.

It has highlighted every area of the club that is broken, from the very Top down to the bottom.

Saints game killed us off

Yep. Doubt we win another game tbh. Stoke and Middlesbrough now look like huge chances missed.

That performance today was a disgrace. Not one redeeming feature.

You're absolutely right. You're being highly generous! (Hamza, Okoli, Souttar, Ramsey, Mavididi).

And your point definitely stands.

That’s the thing, after the Middlesborough game you would have thought we would come into game with a bit of confidence, but it the total opposite. We have too many weak mind and physically weak players. Not sure Rowatt going to get anything out those wimps

Second best in all areas. A crucial match we didn't turn up in. The positives from the last two matches wasted.

Just ditto this, we didn’t turn up, didn’t continue the momentum, flat as a pancake.

Were Norwich that good? If they were it wouldn’t have taken that long to go 2 up.  We had nothing from the full backs, the left wing or centre forward all game, may as well been 11 vs 7 .

… and we should then be questioning if we can stay up in League 1 because this lot wouldn’t!

Norwich were my dark horse for promotion. Obviously  after their poor start, that might not happen, but since Clement took over they looked a different side. They currently sit on the top of the form table. That said we were so timid. We never tried to get at them. Glad James got some game time, boy we are going to need him

When you play 15 players every game, unless you are putting subs on sitting 4-0 up, then it shows what a rag bag of a team the side is. No cohesion, no backbone - just nothing much. It doesn't matter if you have half decent players here or there, football has always been a team game. I reckon we have now landed at the season finish position.

He won't. The whole group, including the coaching team, have resigned themselves to the inevitable.

That and the disinterest from the board and Top

I wonder what the respective teams collective salary totals were ? I hadn't heard of a single Norwich player before today but their work ethic put our collection of multi millionaires to shame
