So despite sending a cancellation email to them and calling them to confirm that they had received it ( they had ) I still got it 😳

Called AND emailed to request cancellation and yet they’ve sent me a renewal notice. Absolute joke.

They need to apologise for this scat show.

The reason for this is that they are so desperate to get cash into their business they think enough people will let it wash through they’ll have enough cash through the books to survive May and June. And the majority of the ‘support’ is turning the other way and clapping the shite served up on the pitch. Last season was sleepwalking to relegation. Now it’s sleepwalking right out of existence.

Ok, So I had the e-mail too and I'm beyond angry about it..

Can someone please tell me, with all these date restrictions, how I go about cancelling it if we are relegated but not if we manage to stay up?

We are FAR from plastic fans but my son is completely disillusioned with everything Championship LCFC but hangs on in there and supports us thro these testing times, but he will be completely broken with League 1 LCFC football so I'm not going to waste £600 for our ST's for him to be utterly disinterested as he discovers with his age what a sh*tshow our club has become.

If we stay up then all is not lost and we will pay (Begrudgingly) but there is no way we can justify this £ they are asking for as we become further distanced, demoralised and far removed from the club I've supported for 40+ years and him since he was 7 (10 years)

Just let the renewel go through.....then if we are in L1 Cancel the DD.I did it a few seasons ago when we were in the Championship after coming down from the Prem.......the club really dont care about fans.As an aside the best season i had (except the obvious) was in L1!

Almost £600 to watch League 1 football, Christ.

To be honest the football may be better in L1, it was quite enjoyable last time, not least because we won most matches. Getting pounded every week in the Championship is no fun.

Its not the League that we are in that bothers me, but rather the complete lack of direction and communication. I really do not want another summer like the last one with no manager or signings.

well I don't think it'll be as fun as last time - teams in administration don't tend to win the league - but granted your point about the lack of direction and direction is true

The L1 season remains my most enjoyable season, more so than 2015/16. Both sides were really easy to get behind and really likeable, as were the managers.

I think the reason for enjoying L1 more was because there was so much tension around 2015/16 as the season went on, so it becomes harder to enjoy there and then. And by that point, I was also not enjoying being surrounded by the lower (football) IQ fans who had come out of the woodwork. In L1 it was the proper passionate fans who were there no matter what.

I can’t compute the argument about waiting to see what league we are in before renewing - I mean, haven’t you seen enough this season not to put yourself through it again next season if we stayed up?

We will have a poorer squad next season whichever league we’re in, I just can’t see how anyone would renew on the strength there will be some kind of blue pill in the summer that will make everything ok again? It’s going to get worse. The warning signs were there last season with renewing, the definition of insanity would be to renew again surely?

No disrespect but anyone saying the L1 season was better than the Premier winning season is just saying to get some sort of Kudos.

Some of those games, goals, atmospheres  were just different level.

The anticipation of what MIGHT happen will never be comparable...obviously  winning the League one title was though...🙄

The point was what was most enjoyable there and then. As I said and @Katyhas also, the PL win was the single greatest achievement. But if some of us say that didn’t translate to the same level of enjoyment whilst it was taking place due to the tension and high stakes, that is nothing to do with kudos.

The atmosphere might have been better generally but if I didn’t enjoy being surrounded by low football IQ fair weather fan then that’s my call

That was the only season they didn't compare it to lol

I think the point is that the level doesn't always dictate the fun.

L1 last time was undoubtedly more fun than the last 2 seasons combined.
