Cannot charge premier league prices for league one football. They used the "more games" excuse to freeze from the prem to the championship but there's no excuse to freeze it again from championship to league one.

I didn't bother this year and can't say it feels like I have missed much.

Same again next year (would have been different if we had a complete board re-structure)

There won't be any waiting list, that's for sure.

It used to be a multi-year process of getting a membership and buying tickets whenever possible - often as single seats - just to build up enough points over 2-3 years to potentially get one. Now we're half-filling the stadium, those spare seats are remaining spare and plenty of people who've already got their seats at STs aren't bothering.

I renewed for this current season mostly because of an admin error - forgot the deadline to cancel the DD - and figured I'd take it as a sign to keep the faith. Gradually started going less and less and then gave up for good in December and after some initial feelings of remorse, now I'm quite happy to have my Saturdays back (2hr travel each way definitely impacts that choice, but still).

Part of the appeal for renewing was to keep my seat and then just share the ST with family who are still local. But given how easy it's going to be to buy one-off tickets, I really don't care about having my specific seat and it's not like i'm going to struggle to get my hands on one. Only real downside is it'll limit me going to away games as I was just about at the points threshold where i could consistently get tickets... But oh well.

People who want to go to the KP because ''its a laugh with their mates'' trust me, much better things to do with your mates than spend an afternoon there. Not missed it one bit.

Why waste your weekend renewing and actively endorsing and supporting the destruction of the club?

If you are on the fence I highly recommend finding a new, fun thing to do with your Saturday. Once you break out of this addiction it's really easy.

I find the whole "we like to meet up that's why we go" pathetic, there are so many better things to do than watch us under this current regime

if people genuinely wan't change, do not renew next season

Any increase is going to stick that renewal rate through the floor.

Luton however charge in the 450+ for their League 1 ST's, so not out of the question they raise them.

Think it’ll shock them how many don’t bother.

I can see us going back to the gates of pre 2014, averaging 20-22k every game.

If so that will be a hell of a drop in sales that will hurt the club elsewhere as well, concourses, club shop, especially shirt sales.

That is if we stay up or drop, maybe more not renewing if L1.

Was surprised that Lincoln’s is also 450

Wow! I’m going to watch York City during the international break and their match tickets are £23. I guess it’s paying for their new stadium but still. Even non-league is expensive these days.

Many might see it as an opportunity to get their first season ticket and a lot won’t want to fall behind with their points/lose the chance of a ST in future.

It’s also worth remembering that, for a lot of fans, success on the pitch isn’t that crucial to their enjoyment of a match day.

lot of fans, success on the pitch isn’t that crucial to their enjoyment of a match day. What a load of nonsense, never met or heard of anyone who thinks this. Made up drivel

True that results are important of course, silly to think other wise. But not the only reason people go, I go with my mum and dad, my younger brother and my son. That is part of it too. I’m so indecisive about season tickets.

I know that by renewing I’m ending up part of the problem. But also I don’t know how many more seasons I’ll get to go to games with my family.

I can't see renewal rates being above 75% and that's assuming they don't put the prices up.

STH have been sitting at home all season.

As a STH i've been to 4 games. I did put it up for re-sale but it sold once, took an age to get £19 back for it whilst the club sold it on for about £50. I couldn't even give it away to mates. The last one I offered it to txt back "are you fu*king mental?".

I will be renewing. I have had my ST for 12 years and might have to move away from the Midlands in a couple of years so want to get as many games in as I can.

In any case there is always more to talk about afterwards with a crap performance, just look at this site 🤣🤣🤣

I pay £150 a season and £25 for my lad at Ashington and enjoy it more than i used to at the KP! You can talk to the players,Have a beer in the stands, take the dog for a walk round and just generally have a good afternoon out without having to be treated like a second class citizen before you enter the ground!

That sounds delightful and how football should be. The higher you go up the pyramid the less enjoyable it is, in my opinion.

Exact same thing with me giving it to family. "Thanks... I'll pass" :sweating:

On more than one occasion someone has taken me up on the offer, and I've felt the need to apologise sincerely afterwards...

I will probably renew as I’ve had a change in my circumstances, and frankly it gives me an opportunity to have a needed day out and meet family and so on. I also refuse to be driven out by KP. This is our club, not theirs. We’ve been here long before they came and will be here after they’ve gone.

There’s probably contradictions in my post (being anti KP but giving them money), and absolutely respect everyone’s decision. If things were different I may have made a different decision.

I’m giving it one last renew. I want to see how things look once all these shite players leave. If it’s another repeat season or worse, I’m done for a while.

Will be good in the international break to go to a non-league game, couple of weeks ago went to see Louth Town. £6 admission the football wasn't too bad none of this sideways/ backwards crap and like others say clubs lower down the league ladder make you feel welcome.
