Would any of us have chosen Daka to take a penalty. I think not many.  Yet another way we contrive to not win a game. I would have expected somebody like Winks to step up or our best player Jordan James. Again a decent away point but you just know we won't follow it up with more than an isolated win few and far between

Said we need 12 points to stay up so 11 more and it will still be tight only thing is Portsmouth are in free fall so it could be them instead of us

He is the striker, so yes

If you took this game on an individual basis, or if it happened six months ago, you would be encouraged by that. You would expect results to follow.

The problem is games are running out and we've proven we'll melt down in about 40% of our games. We desperately need wins - you can't afford to deliver that and draw.

It's not dissimilar to the Stoke game a month ago. We should've won that as well. Didn't, and are now 22nd - and would be 3 clear of that if we'd won those two, despite the meltdowns against Norwich and QPR.

This team just feel destined to drop. We either totally implode or don't hammer home the advantage.

Should have wpn today. I think the difference for me is that we are starting to keep clean sheets. Lascelles is cruical for me. We have scored goals all season.

I think the international break has come at the right time, time for Rowett to work with them.

Another mostly rubbish performance. Clean sheet more down to the fact that Watford don’t really get out of first gear.

single points aren’t going to keep us up. We need to probably find 3 wins out of our last 7 games to stay up. Just can’t see it. Even when we play ok, it’s still not good enough

You have obviously never seen Otchere play.

Hutchinson far better but not ready yet although last 15 mins off the bench would be worth a gamble.

The best option was Evans but we let him go out on loan 🤡🤷‍♂️🤡🤷‍♂️🤡🤷‍♂️

I have seen Ochtere play in person, I wasn't a fan originally but he has been among the goals recently for the U21s.

Considering the club's reluctance to promote Hutchinson to the U21s perhaps Ochtere is our best bet at displacing Daka/Ayew, although I would prefer Hutchinson.

We really need to try anything as we're not getting any value from the terrible two.

Those clever sods that look after our recruitment felt Ayew and Daka was enough this season. Absolute madness. Watford were awful. We deserve to go down

Don´t be so harsh. They did try to resolve the situation, by bringing in......Carranza :(

Ask yourself if we would have come from behind if we played Millwall when they were down to 10.

Probably not. But that’s just conjecture isn’t it.

We could have got Bamford or at worse Szmodics last year and had him for this season both would have been 10x better than what we have

Also. Can we never take a penalty at that end of vicarage road ever again

At least today Watford didn´t score 5 seconds later

Good point and four extremely winnable games to come (though we've picked up no points from similar games recently).

Hopefully our players come motivated and focused, and the fans do their bit to encourage them.

Preston (h), S.Wed (a), Swansea (h), Portsmouth (a). Minimum 9 points.

Life under Rowett us exactly as we expected. Trying to be hard to beat and never, ever going for it. Its tough to enjoy it. Abdul was decent i suppose

How the fek we didnt win that i will never know. But i bet Rowett doesnt give a stuff.

Good game for the defence and the keeper.  Daka proving that no matter how much you try and will him along, he will ALWAYS disappoint.

Academy well and truly out of the running. Aribo naff, Bobby meh (good cross for Daka though).

Horrible stuff though.

Missing the penalty could of worked in our favour. If we score Watford go all out attack and equalise and then inevitably get a late winner.

Positive spin

He missed a worse chance near the end.

Looking better defensively and picking up more points then we were getting before he arrived?
