Everyone reckons the other shit teams are gonna hit play off form. Christ on an andre bikey

Gotta chill out

Another solid performance. 28 shots to 8. Underlying stats are good. Way more confident than I was when we were having about 1 shot a half under Marti.

"Right, I was wrong".

Given the ball ends up running past both players without either of them touching it, Daka isn't 'taking it'' anywhere.

Here's the tackle from the side. I originally said 20 yards out. It's more like double that.

It's just not a 'clear red card'. Not surprised if it's given, not surprised it wasn't

Okolis red card against Charlton was on the half way line

Matt Elliott saying it’s the best we’ve played for ages, I think you need to lay off the booze.

I once stood behind Elliot at a school cross country run where his and my daughter were taking part. That was about 15 years ago. He was visibly swaying even then.

layers just hiding and not taking any responsibility.

I don't think they're hiding. They're just crap.

It was better, not great but better.

We went behind and didn’t fold and fought back for the draw.

I know we shoot ourselves in the foot an  awful lot but it feels like Lady Luck abandoned us months ago.

Their first,  I sit pretty much dead level with that goal line and to the naked eye I couldn’t definitely say the whole of the ball was over the line.

Absolutely need a win on Monday but that’s been the same for weeks now.

Should’ve won. They’ve scored a goal that was 2mm away from not counting and a looping back post header. We were the better side by far. Have to take our chances. Officials were beyond woeful.

All those things you've pointed out aren't incorrect.

We still only got a draw. It's down to the players, not random circumstances.

Can only see the argument against a red was the fact he played advantage and we cocked it up (less of an advantage when the guy who should be running in goal is the main striker and not defence midfielder though)

All we need to do in the next 6 games is play the wingers on their correct sides for better crosses and chance creation, man mark at corners making the markers accountable ( what a dreadful goal), and on said corners leave Fatawu and Mavadidi (at least) up top out the way emptying the box and creating breakaway chances, and we may improve even more.

And he’s actually called a set piece coach!!!

Pretty much how I saw the game, good performance just those stupid moments at the back slipped in. I’m confident though that Rowett is what we need, the players are playing for sure.

It was more like ten yards in from the half way line (at least it was by the time the ref blew), but your point stands, and would be terminal if I'd said (in my previous post) that distance away from goal was the only reason I thought the Daka incident wasn't (and it seems I can't emphasise the first word enough) a 'clear red card'.

Distance aside there were compelling reason why Okoli's red was 'clear' which I don't think applied today. The Charlton player had already stolen a yard on Okoli and seemed to be busy lengthening that gap, his direction of travel was directly towards the goal at the time of the challenge, and the challenge itself was a supremely cynical and prolonged 'orange card at any time' shirt pull (with the ball ten yards away), which could not remotely be passed off a 'clumsy but honest' attempt to win the ball.

Shouldve gone 1 down inside the first minute. The wing backs were absolutely terrible again. We all know Thomas is useless but Riccy was a shower again.. dithering on the ball again .. there was one time in the first half where he nearly put Preston on the attack again from messing about.

Skipp was all energy but no quality again and Mavididi just huffs and puffs but does nothing. Our set pieces are still crap. We had vesty Nelson and okoli up for a corner and fatawu cleared them all.. ridiculous

Overall we should have won. Skipp should have scored and the ref still shouldve sent off the defender. Daka could've had a hattrick.

We were the better team but for me today was win or bust and I think we've gone. We beat Wednesday and Swansea..  but I can only see defeats to Millwall, portsmouth and Blackburn..  draw against Hull. Will need at least 10 more points and I just dont see it .

Wing backs ??

Watched a different game to me .

It seems so but there's so many mistakes. Not just in the defence (Luke Thomas is a bomb scare in every game he plays) but in the way the midfield can' link defence and attack.

Rowett will never get us out of league one if we drop. He hasn't got the experience or the motivational qualities needed. It's clear if you look back at his management career.

Wasnt the worst, prob should’ve won. But please anyone that shouted for okoli to shoot from 25yards after we equalised please refrain from shouting at the football please.

Anything said anywhere as to how Ramsey and James are?

Likely to be involved for Sheff Wed?

Ramsey has done nowt all season, no idea why we are all of a sudden relying on him to come back.

James on the other needs to be playing if we want to stay up.

When he fouls Daka, Daka is goal side and going to run in on goal how can anyone not see this?

The fact that Skipp is 10 yards behind them and then gets the ball RUNNING IN ON GOAL WITH A GOAL SCORING OPPERTUNITY clearly shows its a red.

Are you and others saying skipp got a goal scoring opportunity clean through but Daka wouldn’t have?!

Daka is goal side yes but he isn’t running toward goal .he is running in effect toward the touchline. The fact that Skipp is running toward goal is irrelevant.
