We are so infuriating to watch. Every single game. 
 

Daka ran his socks off. Abdul has already mentally left for Barca in his deluded mind. Stupidly gave the ball away for their first and he’s about one tenth of the player that he THINKS he is. 
 

Mavididi is bobbins too. I don’t mind Luke Thomas when he’s constantly trying to go forwards and I don’t have to think about him trying to defend. 
 

Best moment of the game was right before we equalized, seeing Ayew ready to come on and Rowett telling him to sit back down. It took him about two minutes to get his high vis vest back on. He’s such a dynamo 😂

Tbh, chucking it long to Vestegaard was when I thought we'd finally started to have a go. I know he's a bit shit but he looked the most interested in those 5 or 6 minutes than anyone else had all game.

This has been my big gripe. I get the "they're human they need a break" argument but in about 6 weeks they've all mostly got two months off.

 

None of the starting back four today had international commitments. Would it have hurt them to have ten days with Rowett, Davison and Hughes practicing shape, marking or set piece defending?

He also described the performance today as ‘outstanding’. I know it’s a low bar that this squad has set but it was for the most part far from outstanding. Yes, they huffed and puffed 2nd half but the lack of of quality as a team is simply staggering and one look at the bench is enough to know that there is nobody on there capable of changing a game in a positive manner.

Standards have been so low in recent years that is represented an improvement and genuinely a match where we had spells of threat. We will not draw our way out of this but, in any case, the biggest issue has been that hideous run from New Year's Day to Rowett joining.
