This is the game I fear more than any other.

Anything other than a convincing win would be shameful.

I don't think ive ever been so nervous for a game in my life

Let's not pretend that protesting ever got rid of an incumbent owner - Mike Ashley, the glazers, chansiri...

The only time I can recall protests being successful was against the ill-fated super league but it doesn't work as a means of getting unpopular owners to basically sack themselves.

The idea that everything would be fine if only we could have a few more banners or boycott is foolish but getting wound up and turning on fellow fans about it is more brainless still.

Protests will make a point, show the powers that be what we think of them and give voice to anger but won't achieve much beyond that.

Just totally wrong. Ashley was booted out of Rangers due to protests and it significantly helped his departure from Newcastle.

You know what I thought earlier. I can't remember what's gone on longer. The last time I enjoyed going to watch Leicester or the last time my Wife served up a reasonable meal.

Think I decided it was the Carbonara in May 2013

Yay for having a wife that can cook, (even if she is an Arsenal supporter) :P

This might genuinely be the last enjoyable Leicester City match

Actually I enjoyed the pre season friendly at Northampton in 2021

Monga has to start tomorrow for Mavididi, but Rowett might be the worst manager in the league for a track record with young players.

Same said about Lorenz Hutchinson…. Why the **** is Richard’s in the squad? Clear he isn’t going to play, so why not out him in the academy and Lorenz on the bench. Ridiculous.

Hate to go all Mike Basset on you all but I'd love to see a 4-4-2, tonight and moving forwards.

Daka and Vesty up top.

James and Skipp midfield two.

Monga and Fatawu on the wings, switching sides intermittently.

Whip it in at every opportunity for JV to attack and let James pick up the scraps.

Might sound a bit all out attack for the modern game, but we contrive to concede in more cautious set ups anyway. In the spirit of 'attack is the best form of defence', we might as well go for it. Especially against the poorer sides we have now in our run in.

Oh and Begovic starts.

Rowett won't know who he even is.

The ground should literally be near-empty tomorrow with protests from both sides..

Not taking the full lower tier says a lot in itself, although that's also down to the running of our ticket office. Further tickets could have been sold but the club chose not to open the last two blocks.

Leicester will be expected to win so are on a hiding to nothing. The manager talked up

the last performance saying 99% there but Leicester still look very shaky at the back and could have conceded more. I’m not sure if anyone it going to be fit enough to add to the goal scoring threat when things need freshening up . Wednesday looked very good in the first game of the season but dropped off late on but of course Leicester do exactly the same rarely putting games to bed when leading.

No chance.  He will start Stephi again

It seems like he has spent zero time with the attackers or even watched them.

I keep repeating this but we get opened up all the time by simple 1-2 down the wing.   Our attacks start by standing still on the half way line with zero runners or even an attempt at a pass and move from the wingers. Mukasa isn’t passing into space anymore because no one moves, and he seems to not have the instinct to shoot like he can do.

The whole coaching staff needs to be cleared out.

The first half against Soton should be the blueprint. Don’t message round the back, press from the front, pass into space for players to run into and support them.

Hopefully Fatawu isn’t in his mood where he wants to do everything on his own, ignores his team mates and offers little.

Ashley was at Newcastle for 14 years.  I'd say he left at a time of his choosing.

It is 'totally wrong' to say that he was booted out of Rangers by the fans.  A fan's group partially bought out some of his shares (less than 9%) There were board room disputes, high court cases, dual ownership problems, and his shyster merchandising deal.

Ashley is an asset stripper. Only reason he comes here is to flog our training ground off for hotels, leisure complex and housing developments and then kick our remaining empty husk into the nearest wheelie bin.

Pure optics. They didn't want a game of Spot The Difference to break out.

Win or bust today. If we get less than 3pts it’s clear this lot don’t have the fight in them

it’s actually the protests and refusal to spend money on match tickets and in the club shop that forced Wednesday into administration and therefore Chansiri out of the club.

That's a very simplistic view.  Wednesday went into administration due to years of financial mismanagement by Chansiri (sounds familiar).  He was first charged in 2019 regarding clubs accounts.  12 point reduction (reduced to 6) in 2020, transfer embargos for three windows.  It all caught up to the extent that they couldn't pay wages last year.
