supernuk Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Scott Parker should be on the shortlist. I mean there won't even be a shortlist but if there was he should be near top of the list. 2 1
winteriscoming Posted 30 April Posted 30 April (edited) We won’t but we need to look at manager/coach ready to make the next step up from working at youth level. It seems to be mainly in Scandinavia, France and Germany where there are successful. David Wagner springs to mind from a few years ago as does Thomas Frank. I don’t know a lot about him but someone like Johann Louvel who’s recently left Lyon’s academy as manager and has a background in youth development. Or Daniel Bauer with a similar background with youth coaching experience. Basically what we should be doing next season and should have done this season with the young players getting more first team experience. Edited 30 April by winteriscoming

He shouldn't. Not being funny but he is massively above our level these days, such is life under the little one. Parker's Championship record is that good that he'll be the target of anyone wanting/expecting promotion next season. 3

If he gets us to the prem, he is not cut out to get a team to survive because he brings negative aura. 1
Leicesterpool Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Parker wont come to a league one club. He will go championship. Bristol City most likely.

teblin Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Ferguson odds have started to fall back again, but Chris Davies odds of come in. Means nothing in a small betting market. Though I can 100% see Davies being who we go for.

If you were feeling mischievous and wanted to send this board into meltdown, you could go on BetVictor, stick a tenner on Ryan Mason, light a cigar and sit back…

jayfox26 Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Top/Rudkin planning their next dump on the fans. -Darren Ferguson -Russell Martin -bring back Rodgers 1
LVFox Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Can’t we all agree on who we want it to be, someone stick £20 on so the odds fall and then we all go onto twitter and say how it would be an amazing appointment - the reverse Russel Martin trick
fox_favourite Posted 30 April Posted 30 April I honestly don't think Parker will be right for us. It's time we start thinking out the box and not the same old names again and again

Pita Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Most of the managers mentioned will not come to Leicester with it bad reputation. Those who will come are crap. Rudkin needs to throw away his little black book and think of someone new.

He comes across as thick and inarticulate but I think I rate him and would be perfect to get us out League 1 and hopefully back to Prem in years to come. I think he could be a good fit
cropstonfox Posted 30 April Posted 30 April Bump Dave Challinor has achieved seven promotions across his managerial career, establishing himself as a specialist in guiding teams up the football pyramid. Known for his high-intensity, attacking philosophy. 4
TeamRocket Posted 30 April Posted 30 April No one will come to us unless they want free money and a reputation runed so It be Andy King and thats only cos he loves us more then anything. Rudkin ain't going anywhere sadly Top loves him to much.

cityfanlee23 Posted 30 April Posted 30 April (edited) Can see Parker going to a mid table champ club like Bristol City, but we should be contacting him at the very least. Do I want him? From a pure rebuild/standards/culture perspective yeah I'd take him, he is a standards driver. The football isn't pleasing on the eye and is defensive, but fixing this defence is something we've needed for years. He would be joining a club with elite facilities, a huge ceiling if we can get ourselves back up next season, and I suspect he could be a manager that could take us back from League 1 to the premier league if given 3-4 seasons. In the end, premier league football is the only thing that gets us out of this financial black hole, so as much as the football is negative, we should be all over him.
