I don't think @wurmer is correct here.

I've followed the Macquirie finance for the last 6/7 years we've used them..

They are due the parachute money, KDH instalments Barnes Hermansen instalments etc. So that amount of debt we owe them is basically a guarantee. The money is on its way to Macquirie.

Any other debt is to KP - which was converted to equity..

The problem is cashflow. Unless we shift 50m or so this summer (I don't think we will) or KP lend us the 50m (I don't think they can) we are out. Gone. Game over.

KP will cling onto the stadium and Seagrave and attempt to use them as leverage for an administrator or newly formed club

Thank you. I looked into it after I posted that and it seems the loans total 10's of millions and the rest KP loans which assuming they will right off but won't be in a position to do that moving forward. I don't think we have £50 million of playing assets in the squad.

It looks very bad doesn't it.

I think this is the end. Everything is rotten to the core. There is nothing positive. The finances are a disaster. Most of the support is complicit. We have no identity, obsessed with this style. A pathetic mentality. I don’t see the club ever returning from this. We will likely be the first major city without a football club. Maybe it’s a summary of the total decline and demise of football. We maybe have one year at best but unless these clowns get lucky with a manager there will be no promotion back. 1884-2026 Leicester City FC

Think we still have a few more seasons of decline to look forward to.

For quite a few other fans though, it probably ruins their weekend. I’ve completely changed my mindset as the season has gone on, just concentrate on other things I enjoy, and don’t let Leicester bother me like they used to.

I agree that this time around feels very different. Last time around we went through a period of being bang average to shit, which eventually led to League 1. Now it’s literally a fall from grace, an unprecedented downfall of epic proportions. Things have become toxic to the point where a large chunk of the fanbase are either feeling apathetic, or are seething with anger about the constant failings at this club.

I just listened to what Matt Piper said after the match yesterday, agreed with every word, this club is unrecognisable nowadays. We’ve had some shit teams over the years, but this bunch of players are different, as you said, a loser mentality has been ingrained into them. I’ve said it many times this season, this is the most unlikeable Leicester City squad I’ve ever seen.

Unfortunately I don’t see how Top sells up at this moment in time, I mentioned it in a post a few weeks back, Henry Winter made a great point in his interview with the BSLB podcast. How do you walk away from a place that has a shrine to your father. But this is where other members of the board need to step up and take some accountability. Where the fvck is Jon Rudkin and why don’t we here from him? Imo he needs to come out, take some accountability and tell us what the hell is going on. If not, then considering he’s been here for about 30 years, if he actually cared about the club, then he’d step aside.

I really don’t know what the outlook is going forward, managers, new players, recruitment, it all needs to change. Recruitment especially has been a shambles, and is one of the key reasons why we’re in such a mess. They clearly don’t do background checks when it comes to player’s mentalities and their attitudes. We’ve recruited too many players with a shit mentality, and now we’re paying the price.

As you say, all we ask for is effort and pride. Some fans can come out and say “Back the lads”, Leicester’s social media team can come out and offer a rallying cry for our support, but how are we meant to support and “back the lads”, when this squad gives fvck all back. You look at teams like Oxford and Portsmouth, they are producing effort and grinding things out, to the point where their respective fanbases can get behind them.

We don’t get that from this team, all we see is a spineless set of players who look like they can’t wait to leave.

As Matt Piper said yesterday, the day that the majority of these players leave, “Good riddance to them”.

Outside of Ricardo and James these players will be defined by relegation like those that played for us under Taylor.

Oh my days the amount of times people say Top must sack Rudkin, this isn’t going to happen?? How thick can you be, he’s just promoted him!!

Rudkin retires here unless Top sells the club, just face it

Anybody even remotely sentient would've ruled this out after May 2023 where him and Whelan were the ones 'reviewing' what went wrong.

The difference back then, despite shit like Dennis Wise, Lee Marshall and Junior Lewis, we had more likeable players back then imo, some of which can be classed as Leicester City legends, or some of which who played a good part in the Championship.

This squad, outside of the youth coming through, I dislike pretty much every single one of them. Personally, I think Ricardo has let himself down massively this season, he’s been a solid servant for the club, but he’s proved this season that he ain’t no leader.

I think you’re being very harsh on Riccy - no doubt his legs have gone and he is definitely not good enough to be first choice. In terms of leadership I think the issues run really deep  inside that dressing room with egos and toxicity beyond his capability to fix.

when it all comes out I think none of us will be shocked but appalled that it got to this and it started under Rodgers with him imo and his big ego and over inflated opinions which was passed onto some bang average players but now exists in really poor ones and some youngsters too !!

It’s mostly due to paying obscene wages for bang average players, those players and agents must be licking their lips when Rudkin comes calling.

We’ve been in this position twice in my lifetime, but in both those times there hasn’t been the toxic and completely rudderless feeling.

I recall Ipswich away in the Pleat era where we needed to win, but lost. The support and togetherness was massive, but that certainly isn’t the case in this instant.

The second real concern is what it will look like when we make the drop. The absolutely huge cost of running the training ground along with our staff costs will mean that other clubs in league one have an advantage over us from the outset

I though the same. I don't think he would just make up comments like that without at least something that backs it up even he can't reveal a source.

I’m personally waiting for Percy to press the big publish button on the hit piece article he no doubt has in his drafts. I’m thinking like his one towards the end of last season containing Vestergaard and his dog but about ten times worse.

When I was talking about termination of contracts and huge fines for the players because of misconduct a lot here were laughing at me.

The situation we're in was avoidable by taking action against certain players and staff.

But it seems this club is run like a kindergarten. Everyone from Top to bottom (fans) has an absolute immature approach.

Which players?

I’m just as angry at the fanbase TBH.

As much as I come here for some well needed catharsis, it’s worth remembering that FT members are absolutely in the minority when it comes to opinion.

I cannot fathom the general acceptance of what has happened to this football club.

What you gonna do?

The most foxestalk can do is a protest or a plane banner.:plancque:

Personally I have done nothing but I do not care if the club goes under.

Hardly the end of the world...

There's going to be so many stories. Not just typical hit pieces either. This lot will actively want the worst stories to drop about how the club is run. Anything to make it look like someone else's fault as they jump to a mediocre Championship club and convince them they can get 4 assists and 3 goals a season.

I kind of hope this is the case.

Couldn't care less about the motives of players dishing the dirt with stories exonerating themselves for more favorable moves, but I welcome the embarrassment it causes to "Cvnt Top"  and his KP leeches and I hope there is bucket loads of the stuff.

I just can't see how KP survive as our  owners  in League One, or us really, ( Hopefully there is someone out there more business/ financial savvy than me that can either confirm my fears or quash them)

I was talking to a fellow supporter who had recently been to Bangkok and said that all the KP stuff at the airport was closed.   So heaven knows where KP are getting funds from

We all know deep down that KP want out, but they're snookered by our debts and terrible league position. What comes first? Cut their losses and run, or wait for administration?

I can't control either and I've finally reached the.stage where I couldn't care less.

I just want them gone and to take Teflon Jon with them at a minimum..

Do you need a full breakdown of the players with specific wages fines applied? I can provide you with a full list if you want.

This would be an interesting read if it's really available.

Unfortunately this group of players has evolved through poor recruitment and management. Often it is quoted that they are under acheiving .The facts are they are trying to some degree .but they are just piss poor players individually and collectively. These are the left overs no one wants but our recruitment team were stupid enough to sign ,well done to the agents. Let's hope they can con future prospective employers to help us get rid of them.

They definitely are not trying, not to any degree.

Administration won’t be far away if we are relegated
