Most of the fans are complicit, the vast majority are silent and let this continue, let the perpetrators sit comfortably and enjoy this hospitality in the stadium. It should be so venemous in the stadium Rudkin can’t bare it after he has single handedly destroyed this club.

Yep…. You have my permission to get in the bin !

8 years on this forum with an average of 8 posts a year and the best you can come up with is this.
Rudkins son by any chance ?

The squad did not need a refresh because we lost to Forest. The squad needed maintenance the same as any other squad does, but there was never any excuse for being hammered by a Championship team in a local derby.

Rodgers’ argument that we needed an overhaul because that group of players wasn’t good enough to beat Forest was obviously untrue and was obviously a lie spun by him to save his job. That was obvious on the day and it’s obvious now.

Frankly, Rodgers apologists are even worse that KP apologists. I’m done with anyone who defends him.

Again I didn’t say the context of the game. Neither did I make any apologies for Rodgers.

His point about squad regeneration was valid. That’s all I said

I’m not sure they will, they will stay and stink the place out like they have this year. Most of them didn’t want to play in the Championship. I’m not sure any of the players have clauses for double relegation either. And yes the club are that clueless. You assume these clowns consider outcomes other than ‘we promote’

If they didn’t want to play in the championship, they sure as hell won’t want to play in League 1.  And looking at the way they play, most of them have checked out already.  Their agents will already be putting the word out I’m certain.  There’s no way Fatawu, Winks, Mavadidi etc will step on a pitch in League 1.  The saddest thing is that they’ll end up going to better clubs and playing well.  A bit like Tielemans did at Villa, after playing like a lame donkey at Leicester for his final season.

What do you value in a match-going supporter? I'll take "loyalty" and "backing the lads" as a given

There agents can put the word out but I’m not sure many of them take a pay cut, because they believe they are soo good. Only Fatawu will go on to better things. Mavadidi is a lazy bastard, Winks is winks. The club has a horrendous record of getting rid of players. We will probably end with most stinking the place out until their contracts expire in what another 2/3 years? If we make it that far. If we survive to that point, probably in League 2 we might be able to rebuild.

It's not the end, plenty will still go down, get ripped off, the good times and the bad brigade, get behind the team and all that.

They will still buy the £80 merch as soon as the new kit is announced for league 1.

Pay £40 match tickets to watch Crewe on a Tuesday night with 20,000 others ( official attendance  will be 29,000 obviously!)

Race to get the free chang beer for the first fixture v Hereford( Or whoever's in league 1 nowadays)

They will laud it up on facebook they are true loyal supporters when the clubs in administration  and get a special badge from Top for their loyal service..

I wonder if in another life you would be the old toothless woman sitting knitting, at the front of a public hanging. No idea why that thought came into my head, but I found it amusing. 🤣🤣

One of the most depressing things for me is that the cream of our academy - deemed not good enough to be regular first team squad / starters this season - probably fancy themselves at lower Championship level at the very least - and they wouldn’t be wrong. We won’t be able to hang onto them. We’ll have to sell or lose them on free transfers. Alves has been royally messed about by our club. Arsenal were sniffing around Page and, I’m sure Monga, who was heavily courted before being dropped like a hot potato as soon as he signed his contract (just like Alves). How depressing is it going to be to even out academy lads want out because they’ll be higher than our level in League One?!

I’m guessing that anyone who writes ‘most of the support is complicit’ possibly doesn’t go the ground

So many of you can get in the bin…

Loads who go regularly leave early more often than not and moan about what they’ve seen. They do this all the time and have done for years. Most of these don’t do anything about it.

The same fans don’t choose to protest and don’t choose to vote with their feet or stop buying in the ground.

Then there’s the thousands who ‘back the lads’, applaud Mavididi off the pitch and clap the players at the end of the game during our WORST EVER season.

Do something about the very dying of your club. It’s sickening.

Dunno if it’s a weird take?

if you see something shit happening to your club, do you

A. Let it continue quietly saying nothing

B. Try to stop it happening

Anyone who does A is complicit in the shit!

Through the good times and the bad...people will be singing this when we are fighting relegation  from league 1 next season.

But atleast they got rid of the plastic fans from 2016 and they are all hardcore...all 7,000 of them...

I remember going to Leicester v Cheltenham last time we were in League One. I got a paper ticket on match day. I asked the lady in the kiosk where there’ll be space in the stadium and she said ‘everywhere’. The gate was about 7,000 if I remember right.
The boardroom deserve that kind of attendance level again after the way they’ve treated us with taking cards away and forcing memberships upon us whilst doing away with general attendance tickets.

This. Hopefully we see the back of the plastic fans who jumped on the bandwagon 10 years ago. Unfortunately the damage has been done by the club deciding they would do away with general attendance tickets leaving those who live many miles away with little hope of watching them, home or away. Maybe that is progress but after following  City for over 70 years it will never be the same as far as I'm concerned. Shame that a passion for a football club could so easily be extinguished but the bunch of overpaid mercenaries who deign to grace us with their presence on the pitch are just symptomatic of the culture which has been allowed to develop around this club.

The gate was never ever 7,000. Probably about 7,000 spare seats.

Think they left when we hot relegated the first time.

The worst thing will be a generation of the younger kids who cant be bothered to support the club cos parents are now disengaged.

After we won the league loads of lcfc tops all over the city...how many you see now on non match days.

Pride in lcfc is gone.

Instead of ‘clapping the lads’, I would get reading the elements of style if I were you.
