No. Because I don’t have a comms background. That’s the problem here. This organisation is going to need to be at the forefront of quite a few key meetings and exchanges and we still want people in who may not have the background.

What the board might need is executive board experience - or at least coaching. That’s where you/ the trust start.

Unfortunately this isn’t really where we need to be but to use the FT phrase - we are where we are.

The trust is full of people with different backgrounds and skill sets.

Why not offer to do a bit of executive board coaching? If you think it would benefit the board/fan base as a whole?

With respect to the trust you had a former chairman reach out the other week to try and help and you lot declined. It's all very diplomatic, get a seat at the table stuff. So far so Ian Bason.

If only Top would have looked to sell the club after Vichai's passing. He, his family and his surroundings should have known that Top couldn't handle fronting LCFC and KP as well as go through that personal ordeal.
I don't blame him for his wish to do well for the club, I think that comes from a genuine place, but it's proven to be so out of touch and naïve that he's achieved the opposite of what he wanted.

Imagine the reverence we'd have for him and Vichai if he had correctly passed on the torch? He's ruined that now.

he had no idea it was difficult

his dad had commercial instinct.(and many other business and inter personal assets).  Things you can’t teach.  Top doesn’t. so he had to surround himself with extremely capable people. Whelan was someone who was capable but she had no involvement in the footballing side and when the footballing side failed to meet its part of the the financial equations set, she was effectively told to make the best of it.

we are where we are because Rudkin was way out of his depth and top didn’t trust anyone else to be involved at such a high level on the football side.

And this is where he and his surroundings should have known better and not let pride, hubris, overconfidence or whatever get in the way.

Still, he could've saved himself by identifying this early (why didn't he?) and acted accordingly.

Instead he has stubbornly chosen to 'stay loyal' and 'committed', while promoting failures within the club and not addressing the glaring issues.

I believe Top doesn't really give 2 fvcks. He's placed all his trust in Rudkin to run the football side without understanding Rudkin's weaknesses. Rudkin may well be a long serving member of the club. But in this position he is out of his depth and evidently incompetent, as he has demonstrated countless times. If Rudkin remains in a position of power the future is grim.

Top just does not understand how bad Rudkin is

Who was that?

Got Sky on in the background as I get ready to leave and Jonathan Northcroft is speaking about us.

Was asked “Who’s to blame?” and he said it’s a complicated one FFS. Did mention Rudkin but basically just waffled.

We’ve just got to hope for more decline as it’s the only way out of this disaster

Eventually Aiyawatt financially will hang himself we just have to hope it won’t be for much longer

Nothing will change statement or not

Where we are right now is very different to 2008 or whenever it was.

Its very different to Tony James in the last minute. Pleat, Pierpoint and even admin the last time.

The fall has been so rapid, so catastrophic the impact is going to be felt for years if we dont "fix it".

And with that the biggest enemy to Leicester City Football Club (I want to say entire history but I know that will trigger a lot of useless responses) in its recent history is Aiyawatt. He is our biggest enemy. There is nothing good this man can bring us. There is nothing good him staying.

That has to be the focus.

How dare you criticise Aiyawatt after all he has done for us.

Be careful what you wish for.

Just needs to sell up. He's no idea what hes doing or what needs to be done. He will rely on the advice of Rudkin for the next decisions and he aint sacking himself. He wants to hold on to the club because of his dad but its killing the club.

But us up for sale Top and strike a deal to sponsor the stadium so youre still attached and then leave with thanks for what your family bought us.. but you cant take us any further... before the pitchforks come out

There were 100 there, where were the rest of our fans, especially those upset by the mere fact he didn’t call Top a diminutive nepo baby c@nt.

I would call all those upset to get down there Friday night and protest. I’ll be there.

Dear Tom,

Thank you so much for responding to the Trust’s request for help from members.

I note from our records, that you are not currently a member of the Foxes Trust. The Trust’s Rules and Policies require that any members of our Board Subgroups, must be paid-up members of the Trust.

Therefore, as we have been fortunate enough to receive offers of assistance from our members with similar professional experience to yourself, we will at present need to put your offer of help on hold.

We would like to keep your details on file as there may be an occasion in the future when we may require additional assistance at Board level, whereby we could co-opt an external advisor for a short period of time.

Kind regards,

All of the thickos will lap this up n'all.

So you're assuming a certain caucus of fans need reprimanding because they're not as intelligent as you or the other critics on this forum?

Why not keep your bile for those who got us into this scrape and leave people who genuinely will still support the team wholeheartedly. They may not understand the mismanagement that got us here, but they're probably more loyal fans than those who've been sniping at the players and coached for  the whole season.

People also seem to forget that we'd still be in with a chance had we not been saddled with a 6 point deduction. We'd all be happy enough had we got those points.
