The FT really is the best way of putting the club under legitimate, organised pressure and the bigger the membership the greater the pressure they can exert on these charlatans. I appreciate the work you guys are putting in on behalf of the fanbase.

I feel bad for digging out the lad last night. But you've gotta present yourselves better than that 'please sir' Oliver twist approach

The Foxes Trust needs to think and act like a shadow cabinet, holding the club accountable. And stand ready to present a viable business case for investors.

The Board of the trust can run the trust. But it needs rapidly to build an executive network, a shadow cabinet,

Finance

Communications

Business X2 (strategy and commercial)

Legal

Football

PS. I am a member.

PPS. You could start by asking for a meeting with the Tigers executive. See how a normal sports club operates

You probably couldn’t have used a worse club as an example 😂

I’m going to defend Steve here and challenge the notion that he was speaking on behalf of the Trust.

He was just down there having been out and about for hours distributing leaflets for the Trust End of Season Survey and then watching the game and going round to the protest gathering post-match.

An in-the-moment encounter that he never expected, and hadn’t prepared for, popped up as Top came out. He was asked who he was (again you wouldn’t expect) and he mentioned that he’s on the Trust board in his answer to that question as well as saying he’s on several fan channels.

He was not there to speak on behalf of the Trust and I don’t think it’s fair to take this interaction as him having done so. Believe me, the Trust is pushing the club and trying to hold it to account.

The Trust does have subgroups in areas like Finance & Operations, Communications, Membership and the Women’s Game. These are all working day to day to help the Trust function but are of course only as strong as the number of helping hands. You’d be more than welcome to come and get involved and help any of those areas get better?

Fair play and honestly, even prior to your answer, I had respect for him just being there, giving it some, putting himself in harm's way. Even that alone puts him above 99% of people..

I assumed he was there representing the trust. Happy you have corrected that.

As an outside the the Trust (for now), that was my take when I saw the video too

It's a bit unfair if people are taking this interaction in isolation and charactirising it as an official FoxesTrust meeting

When opportunity strikes, you take it whether you’re prepared for it or not. Steve did as well as he could under the circumstances, others may have abused him and ‘scared’ him off (the fanny) and then the opportunity never shows itself again. Think about it.

How much has it gone up in the past few years or since the election? I know it's reported on the accounts, just wondered if it is allowed to be public knowledge how much it has increased so far this FY or calendar year?

The last I knew it was bubbling last week around the 650 mark before all this. Suspect it won’t be far off 700 or even more now.

Not at the highest of the initial energy of 18 months ago. But double where it was two years ago

I've signed up.

Despite all that's happening at the moment, I still love the club and I'm passionate about trying to be a tiny, tiny part of constructive changes.

I like how more open and relatable the trust feel these days.

P.S, the pub discount for Sheff Weds had no bearing on this decision.

Not after watching your leader ‘interview’ Top. It literally epitomised the whole club right now. It’s a bit bizarre to build a group around ‘representing supporters’ but giving a one dimensional, sympathetic view towards the situation. I actually cringed so hard watching the video. It should be so toxic that Aiywatt should feel worried coming to games, instead, we have some clown literally apologising to him. For what? No doubt that King Power will be under the illusion that this is how the fanbase feel.

Before signing up, I'd like to read something about the extent to which Bason and his cabal have been purged. Can someone point me in the right direction, because I can't get behind anything they're still involved in

Would like to know where you were at the time?
easy to criticise me when only 7 people waited for Top.

Every single one that was left said “they had no idea what to say, so glad someone took the lead”

Here’s a link to see who is on the board

https://foxestrust.co.uk/foxes-trust-board

Kate, Lynn & Steve are the longest standing members on the board.

Lynn(chair) and Steve both offer more than the previous members.

Harry, Jamie and Becky were appointed a year or so ago

Myself (Steve), Jack, Andy & Chris are new appointees to the board

Thank you, and good luck. That's enough for me to sign up

Genuine question, is this post satire? I do not believe that people were doing a Guard of Honour for talking to Aiyawatt & getting zero answers. I assume the second part of your post is a lie. Look at this forum, the feeling towards King Power is unanimous. If you were really representing us, you would hold him accountable, rather than repeatedly asking him “what is going on?”. It is quite evident what has happened - him and Jon have dragged the club into the gutter and under their stewardship, have overseen the biggest downfall in English football. They deserve to know that it is shameful and a disgrace to the city. As I have said above, it should be so toxic that they feel worried about attending. Aiywatt probably departed that conversation thinking that the fanbase still have his back and back him to turn this around. FYI, I was overseas, where I live - assume you will tell me that you are a better fan because you waited to hold his hand until 1am?

People will be handing out leaflets before tonight’s game again, so if you haven’t filled the survey in yet and you’re going to the game and you’d like to, please take one and do it.
