Tribunal fee system isn't fit for purpose

Ridiculous that the Sky 6 clubs can poach whoever they want and pay a pittance, if they even pay anything at all

Problem yet again is down to the manager who yet again failed to give youngsters a chance, does the manager actually pick the team or is it down to the DOF or some other clown on the backroom staff. We had a chance at Blackburn with players like Ayew / Daka coming to the end of their contracts to blood youngsters but yet again no lets go with the same failures who let us down time and again. We brought Richards in from Chelsea on loan who was a youngster, why? never played him and he took a place up on the bench when someone like Motsi could have been there. This again is down to the hierarchy at the club who just haven't got a clue.

Liverpool, eh? I guess we can expect a tribunal to be held sometime after Motsi's 38th birthday and 20th successive Balon D'Or win, at which point we shall be awarded 17p compensation. Which will then be immeidatly taken off us as a PSR fine, to teach us not to be irresponsible with money and signing players, when we should be developing our own players in house, like Liverpool do, with their born and bred Liverpool academy graduates Darren Motsi and Trey Nyoni.

There is no pathway for youth at this horrible club. Good for him.

Quite a few youngsters played last season, some more successfully than others. This year they should be stronger and fitter. You can’t play every promising 15 year old in the 1st team. If our club is so horrible, I suggest you change your name and find a club that isn’t so horrible and has a team made up of 15 to 17 year olds.

Hahahahha if you don’t think this club is horrible right now, you are part of the  problem. Get a grip.

It’s an absolute must for any talent in the youth system to get out of here. It’s the last thing Rudkin is relying on to show he has any competence. The reality is, a lot of young players signed up with us due to us being the leading side in the midlands for a few years. All built by people other than Rudkin and wankstain bastard Aiyawatt.

I do think they need better clubs than this one. Perhaps going to the giants like Liverpool and Arsenal isn’t the answer but Brighton, Brentford, Forest, Bournemouth etc. much better options for them.

This club is finished and jumping ship is absolutely the right idea.

It’s ok we have a statue of a womanising corruption supporting billionaire outside our ground. So proud.

Who said we should have a team made up of 15/17 year olds? The fact is, we barely gave them a chance. Aluko, Page and Monga. We chose to play a crocked Ricardo, Mavididi and Bobby Reid. And we got relegated anyway without our youngsters having been integrated properly into the team. We are now in the third division, in financial turmoil without having shown a strong pathway. It’s the worst of both worlds.

But yes, anyone who is not happy and calls this out should go and support another club so that cult leader Aiyawatt can keep his loyal followers.

What is the point in developing youngsters when the best ones from the club get picked up at 15 for next to nothing. Makes you wonder why the same hasn’t happened with Monga

Getting relegated is the bigger problem. A 15 year old who isnt ready yet is not getting first team mins in a relegation battle.

Being a L1 club, there is no pathway for them anymore, as they have to break the first team to feature in L1. When he is ready, Motsi will get loans and it may be L1, and if he does well he they can bring him back.

Would rather be in league 1 having played the academy players a bit more with the upside of them potentially coming good at championship level in the coming years than having stayed up last season and been looking down the barrel of relegation next season with minimum future prospects and the academy players leaving.

Sadly we have gotten the worst of both worlds, the pathway wasn't shown to the youngsters so they will leave and we also got relegated.

Motsi should have been in and around the first team going into next season whether we're in championship or league one anyway.

Our club is horrible but you can't pin not playing a 15 year old kid in the first team as a creadible reason for backing up that statement, Page Aluko Monga and Thomas have all had a decent minutes this season.

You can't say "all had decent minutes" when Page was relegated to the bench or not being in the squad in the second half of the season, Monga was perenially overlooked in favour of a Mavididi who stunk the house out and Aluko was barely given a chance despite Ricardo being completely past it and Hamza being useless. How many minutes did e.g. Mirsad Ali play in first team fixtures? Logan Briggs? Otchere and Hutchinson who were scoring for fun in the youth teams?

Nobody is saying a 15 year old needs to start every match, or even be in the squad for every match, but when we have such a talented crop of youngsters who aren't being shown the suitable path to the first team – when said first team players are performing so poorly – then it just makes it harder for us to attract and keep talented youth players.

Ah yes. That boring mantra from anti City fans. “You’re part of the problem” The club is in a desperate and dire situation and the removal of the owner and Rudkin is paramount to any improvement of the situation. Fans can still love the club they have done for however long or short a time, without supporting King Power. Yes, Top’s name may be over the door, but as far as I’m concerned, Leicester City is MY club and always will be. So stick your mantra and you get a grip.

This is why the money should of gone on expanding the ground and not the luxury spa. Absolutely pointless trying to bring through young lads with the current rules in place.

You're so close to getting the point that DezFox is making

"The club is in a desperate and dire situation and the removal of the owner and Rudkin is paramount to any improvement of the situation"

Yes, that is WHY the club is horrible right now – and it will remain a horrible club until Aiyawatt and Rudkin are gone, competent people replace them and the rotten club culture is reset. None of us are "anti City fans", we're all Leicester City fans otherwise we wouldn't be commenting on this board ffs

You can’t play 3 or 4 15/16 year olds in the first team. You need proper rules that prohibit this robbery of talent, or at the very least get good fees. I may have missed it but have we had a fee off them for the other kid who has had no better a pathway than we would have given him?

Good luck to the lad & Liverpool

Why on earth would you want to stay here. !

He’d play first team here long before he starts his bit part career with them. It’s about big wages, quick.

Look what’s happened to a perceived generational talent in Harvey Elliott, these kids need to be careful what dead end they’re going up. But fair play to the kid if it’s about money.
