If it’s a loan move then fine, otherwise no thanks.

 

It is ridiculous though that two top flight clubs are after players who can’t get in our matchday squad.

Lazio aren't going to be paying much are they, let's be real.

 

I think this is one we can afford to not let happen and integrate him throughout the season.

 

If we sell him and somehow don't sell Souttar I'm going to flip my lid, I really am.

For him to have a high enough profile that Lazio would even be a believable rumour let alone a real one he's got to be alright? 

 

Any idea how good he actually is or how close to the senior squad he is? 

 

Scored 15 and assisted 5 in 15 at u18 level.

 

Scored 4 and assisted 3 in 11 in the PL2, so less impressive on the face of it but you have to keep in mind we have played him at left wing since he was promoted to the u21s for some bizarre reason.

 

Had some good moments in pre season but again was played as a winger so we have no idea what he looks like as a striker in the context of our first team.

Hahahahaa a loan move to Serie A but can't get anywhere near a League One match day squad, would be classic Leicester.

tbf the club will look for in and around the same base price they sold Monga for, 
 

no way Lazio are paying £10/13mil and then we arent even getting into the add ons the club would want as well

But they want them as a long term view, they can chuck millions around and play them in the under 21 and loan them out without caring about the cost.

Just like when Barcelona apparently wanted Choudhury and Man Utd wanted Schlupp, this is an agent angling for a contract/more first team involvements.

Except Schlupp actually went on trial with Man United. I don't think you're wrong about the contract but Lazio aren't exactly the massive pull you think (obviously a lot better than us!)

His camp has previous at this to be fair before signing his pro contract. I have wondered if thats the reason he's been held back a bit.

I think it's quite clear a certain someone has a big problem with players he doesn't perceive as loyal. As soon as there's contract issues we don't see players again, Page is the latest example, Hutchinson probably the next. 

 

Would appear JR is keeping himself busy back where he started this season.... 

 

Monga bought into it, sign a contract, stay for a bit then leave. Would appear Page is having none of it.

Page has already signed a contract until 2029.

 

So not sure what you mean.

Vaguely remember a spindley lad who Jock Wallis played on the wing for 50 games, Gary something. Wonder what happened to him?

He signed it in September 2025, don't think he played much between than and Christmas.
