Did I spot a rumour that we’re moving to Castore next season?

Guess we need to enjoy this season’s offerings while we have them!

Yep. Be careful what you wish for

The Tigers home shirt is also bad. Extremely boring and looks like a London Irish shirt.

For your sake I hope not. Castore were so awful MK forced our way out of our contract with them a year early.

They're pure sh!t, Castore.

So many suppliers could offer better: Hummel, Macron, Errea, Lotto, Mizuno, Joma, Kappa, Le Coq Sportif.

These are all equally as shit lol

Let’s make no mistake. Adidas don’t inherently make bad kits. It’s the spanners at our club who sign off the colourways and patterns that are to blame.

It's the same anywhere to a large degree.

The best kits will typically be ones where the clubs probably have an idea but let designers go and do their thing without micro managing details. The shit ones will be ones where higher ups shoe horn/force things in.

Dunno about Hummel and Kappa. They’ve got some good in them - knowing us we’d end up with Sunday league team wear stuff tho.

Hummel, Kappa, Macron and Mizuno are churning out great kits

Supposedly it’s a two year exploratory deal with Castore starting next year. Their pricing model allows the club to take a higher percentage of the shirt royalties compared to Adidas which is probably why they are likely to switch. The massive problem is Castore shirts look awful and they’ve had many quality issues over the last few years including missing badges, peeling sponsors and sweat wicking fails.

I’d hit the Adidas merch hard this season because if it is Castore our shirts are going to look as shit and as cheap as Leicester Tigers ones do this year, and they’ll still cost £75.

Puma have produced some cracking kits since we moved to adidas, if we are moving suppliers i am surprised we haven’t looked at rekindling the partnership.

I need proof of this because the vast majority of Puma kits I see are minging

It's all opinion obviously, but all of those mentioned are better quality than Castore and often better designs. Just because they're not Nike or Adidas etc, doesn't mean they're not decent.

£100 for a kids coat is nuts.

To market it as a "26/27" coat as well is particularly shit of them because i'm 99% sure they've been making that exact same coat for years now.
