Booked in Wealdstone v Carlisle for my birthday whilst in London for the weekend.

Bit of a rag tag ground but decent clubhouse

Very distressing story in regards to a loyal Boro fan. I know him very well he's also very passionate Leicester fan. Attacked in the town centre Saturday. The club have replaced his shirt which was damaged. Quite a character around club, who adores his football club.

I picked up a Sporting Bromsgrove ST this season in leiu of my Leicester one. So if there's any nomads fans making the trip, I'd be happy to show you round a few of the local pubs. Sporting have had a bit of a takeover in the summer and done up the clubhouse and smartened up the ground, it's looking decent. Nice day out.

Harborough Town 1-0 up at Kings Lynn, good start to their NLN adventure.

I'm at Marine, we're 0-0 with Macclesfield at half time. Interesting season ahead, honestly just banking on one of the teams I've got my eye on making it to the first round proper of the FA Cup.

LCFC vs Harborough Town anyone?

Harborough finished 1-1, Marine lost 1-0

The mighty Hebburn Town are top of the league!

Went to Barwell today I was really excited before the game with what I'd seen in pre-season, Brady & Deeno back, the team looked to be enjoying their football again and unfortunately played pretty poorly today.

Both sides were pretty poor in truth, Barwell had next to nothing up front and Basford were average too but looked the more threatening side. As a Barwell fan 0-0 nobody would've argued against, but Basford did eventually nick it with a brilliant goal.

Disappointed, but a chance to put it right on Monday!

Was at Buxton v Hereford as up here with friends and they won in the 97th minute after it looked like the Bulls had snatched a late point out of no where .

The home side certainly deserved to win overall .

Lost again yesterday!

Manager change needed, but not sure it will be done considering he is the owner of the building company that has done all the work on the changing rooms & clubhouse.

That will end well

Went to Kings Lynn yesterday to watch Harborough. A draw was fair.

Harborough edged the 1st half.

2nd fairly even. End to end type game.

Morecambe on Saturday.

Unfortunately the Harborough v Morecambe game has been de-selected for live tv on DAZN

Down at Barwell again tonight, much better particularly first half, created some really good chances.

Took the lead after 3 minutes, captain fantastic Brady Hickey scoring his first league goal since his return from Harborough. Should've been further in front as both Shay Willock and Deen Master spurned glorious opportunities, Willock in particular will be so disappointed he didn't notch his first in a Barwell shirt. Rushden grew into it though and Barwell gifted a poor free kick away from a defensive mix up and a free header allowed Rushden to equalise.

Second half Rushden came out really strong, for 20 minutes Barwell had their backs against the wall and it just felt like only a matter of time. However Barwell stood strong in defence and the last 10 minutes saw a more end to end game but with no decisive moment for either side.

A draw I think both sides will accept, Barwell 1-1 Rushden & Diamonds.

Off Quorn tonight. Need ever better of help they can get this season. Also from a purely selfish POV it’s great having two step 3 divisions to watch this year local

Looking forward to St Andrews v Coalville tonight.

Decent couple of kick ups at the side of the pitch and you’ll be £200 a week at St Andy’s

I think they’ll struggle, but hopefully stay up. The move to north had absolutely killed them hasn’t it because of lot of their lads don’t want the travel.

Will be there as much as possible this season because we get two free season tickets as part of the lads subscription for one of their junior sides, which is really decent.

Cleethorpes were very good but Quorn did look very short of quality. Goalkeeper was a disaster but he will be replaced next game as they’ve signed Laban from Harborough on loan. Beswick has done well with loan signings in the past and there’s gonna be some work to be done

Ramsgate 1 Leatherhead 2

Really disappointing opening game for Ramsgate in the Isthmian Premier, deservedly beaten by newly promoted opposition. Finished midtable last season after Lee Martin (ex Ipswich/Millwall) came in before xmas and went on a great run after previously being bottom 6/7. The decision to abruptly get rid of him even before the seasons end was a shock and one that risks looking silly if they end up struggling this season.

Quorn took a 0-5 hammering against Cleethorpes

Hard to know the level of teams atm, but we (Coalville) look a long way from a team with designs on top spot this season atm. Really struggling to consistently create chances and we look like we can be easily undone by a long ball at any moment.

Long way to go and we will hopefully see some ins and outs in the squad over the next 3-4 weeks as squads at higher levels begin to take shape.
