Sometimes you have to accept it's a really good goal, every aspect of their second goal was quality. It was very hard to defend that.

Shite is harsh, been good going forward, controlled periods of the game. The defence is what worries me here, and going forward in the tournament

Not a huge fan of the current offside rules where we want to analyse it down to the millimetre so I don’t really care that this goal was given despite looking “offside” on tv. 
 

The goal wasn’t scored because of a 3cm advantage a player got, it was scored because we defended like a kids league team.

You're watching a different game to me mate. I can't remember any sustained control or pressure from England. Croatia have been in the ascendancy

The build up is to pass it about without any direction until you either lose it or punt it down the line for Madueke to do something. We should have a bit more about us.

I was about to say the same, timid and lukewarm needs to grasp the nettle, take responsibility and realise he’s one of the front three in a World Cup game. If you want to take it easy and leave it to others to make it happen then buy a ticket and watch it from there, should have taken on his man in first minutes and let him know he’s in a game, just too passive.

Madueke has won a pen and put in a cross that we really should have scored from, he’s been fine. He’s only in to manage Saka minutes anyway.
