How are you blaming him for either goal? 

 

The first is a hospital pass to him while he's isolated with a marker right behind him and after that there's five or six Ipswich players behind the ball who did nothing. In particular the keeper got done tamely at his near post by a shot that had no business going in. 

 

Then the second he's marking Kerkez holding his ground fairly well. If he drifts off Kerkez, the pass goes there instead and Kerkez is in behind. Fatawu is where he's supposed to be? 

 

Can we please not do that really cringey shit where you desperately start pretending all your ex players are crap just because they've left you. We're not Scousers.

He played there man on for the second didn’t really take notice for the first just heard the commentator mention something

Hmmm, not for me.

 

For the first, I'm not sure you can blame someone losing one 50/50 on the half way line. The midfield has time to recover and the keeper should do better.

 

The second, I really don't know what he's meant to do differently. That's on the CB if anything as the run is through the middle, Fatawu has no involvement in that at all.

He's a right winger that's tracking the run of the opposing left back whilst covering defensive duties, if the Ipswich centre backs are relying on him to set the line that's ****ing dreadful defending on their part. Especially as he's nowhere near Isak and Isak isn't his responsibility.

 

I'm not just looking for excuses to defend him, I have no strong feelings towards him one way or another. But I definitely do think you're going out of your way to find reasons that the goals are his fault just because the ball happened to pass vaguely near somewhere he was on the pitch.

The second looked to me like he was ball watching and didn't look across the line in which he ended up playing there guy on that's my imo anyway.

agree for the first the second though he is playing there man on with no awareness of the defensive line.

That looks so slow, keeper could have got to the ball.
