Probably the only club in world football that would beat a team 9-0 and then soberly decide to buy half of said clubs back line. Then a few years later beat that same club 9-1 on aggregate and think thats the manager who we want to take us forward in to the "next chapter".

I’m still so torn, part of me wants him nowhere near the club with this pep style of football we insist on, which might not work in league 1 with the right players.

 

Other part of me thinks we are punching with this appointment. Like it or not we are league 1 crop, he has taken a club from the championship to the premier league. Decent ish spell at Swansea as well. His level is mid-high championship IMO. 

 

I have come to the conclusion I will give him a chance and give him the first 10 games of the season.

Want to see that pointless set piece coach Hughes gone. Don't care so much about Kingy  sticking about but his inability to condition coach us in a position Jon Rudkin put him in those early weeks last pre season definitely ****ed us a bit.

 

Think Martin needs to bring an assistant, Goalkeeping coach, and a first team coach. Can't half arse this shit interfering insisting on shit like "keep Begovic onnnnn".

Not that I want him in the first place. 
Don’t want King, Sadler or Hughes involved in the first team next season.

Surely it can't be that hard to condition footballers to be fit? I'm surprised year on year with how unfit we are
