So this will be 2 managers, 1 Goalkeeper, 2 defenders, 1 midfielder and a head scout we have had from Southampton in the last 9 years. Yes, it was a bit uncanny that he was also at Southampton before he came to us! Also strange that Puel had Saints in a league cup final the season before he came to us (which I think they lost to Man. U.) and got them to 8th in the Prem. only to be sacked in the summer to follow! A bit like how he was treated here to be honest...!

Martin suggested "less change so quickly" may have been a better approach and alluded to a lack of "cohesion" during his early period in charge. "There was so much change," said the former MK Dons, Swansea City and Southampton boss. "I walked in to the club at a time of new owners that had literally been in there two weeks when I came in. New director of football, chief exec, head of performance, new head coach, 14 new players. "I tried to stress a lot that it probably would take some time so that's my fault because I was in a place where historically and traditionally you don't really have time.

He will have about 15 minutes with most of us.
PaddyS Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago A worrying amount of rhetoric coming out about him bringing success ... if he's given enough time. We're going to be stuck with him forever.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Has anyone mentioned he looks a bit like Rylan Clark? 1
nettle Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I reckon he'll do ok and get us up he's a got point to prove after his Rangers debacle🤞🏻

Unabomber Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Considering he looks like Rylan I can’t believe he’s bagged Lucy Pinder
Dames Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago We knew this was coming. Will we survive it? Probably not, we would have in the Championship but not League One. He will be sacked by Christmas when we are in a relegation battle we will not likely escape. The club is doomed to make the same mistakes over and over and over and over.
Mike Oxlong Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Good news indeed ! It's only fair that the excited newbie ST holders get to experience the pain, misery and boredom of watching Leicester endured by many others in recent seasons 2
Russell_Packets Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I reckon he will be announced around 10pm Wednesday during the England match. With the club hoping to avoid backlash😂
Popular Post Gamble92 Posted 12 hours ago Popular Post Posted 12 hours ago Not a chance he's taken this without being promised money by the way. The Enzo scenario all over again. Give him the players he wants to make it look like all is well. Tell him at Christmas that there's actually a massive financial hole so from now on he won't have any money. Report record losses. Forever have articles about points deductions. Rinse and repeat. Never learn KPFC. 10

dannythefox Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago We all have to back him wouldn’t be my choice but he should be ok for League 1. Can’t start the new season being negative like I was all last season 😂 1

He has had 1 half successful season ever where he failed to get southampton automatic promotion every other season he has managed has been a complete disaster what about any of that makes people think he will be alright for league 1? 1

Anyone who doesn't believe in one way of playing, with no alternatives despite everyone being able to see how easy it is to play against, is basically gaslit into being told they're a dinosaur. 1
DoveValleyFox Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago If Martin fails this season, this would be the most embarrassing appointment in our history. The only upside to that is that for many be is already the most embarrassing appointment in our history.
