His book value is what will likely mean he’s still with us.

Bloody PSR and our stupidity in not being able to cut our loses on duds like this is what has actually put nails into our coffin.

One of our worst signings imo. Just so one dimensional and hopeless. We’ve had many shit left backs and he’s up there with likes of Alan Rogers, McGivern etc.

Luckily we’ve still got Luke Thomas for a few more years……….oh shit.

Can cope with them two being rubbish given the relatively little money we bought/loaned them for and then Wages offered compare to VK

Aperently forest offered 8m last year and we declined.

Yep . Sums up why you shouldn’t allow nepo baby and a PE teacher (and part time coach ) to be making important financial decisions .

This is why any talk of a rebuild is just air. It's completely pointless until the club is in different hands.

Actually, remember at the time that this was rumoured to be one of the signings that Nuno wanted but was overruled on so might not be as clear cut. But wouldn't put it past Rudkin sabotaging things.

Yes, we keep hearing that this summer is going to be a complete rebuild/reset. Lots of players are going to be leaving we keep reading in rehashed Mercury articles.

Well, We've been hearing about this great reset since Rodgers last year here and it still hasn't happened. I'm assuming players will be back for preseason training in a short while and it's going to be the same group.

Nothing will have happened and it will be a case of yet another manager trying to get the same squad motivated. Apart from the striker position I can name a full side exactly the same that is likely to be starting our forthcoming fixtures!!!!!

Wonder how many of the 2025/26 team will start the opening game. Kept saying the opener of 2025/26 would contain a minimum of 8 from the season before - think it was 10 out of 11.

lol just double checked. 11 out of 11.

It's pathetic. It doesn't keep happening by accident.

This is a serious comment.

If I were his manager, I would send him to a clinic to have his eyesight (especially his peripheral vision) and his short-term memory checked. It seems to me that he either doesn´t see opposition players standing about 5-10 yards away to one side or, if he does, he immediately forgets that they´re there.

If there is no problem with his eyesight or memory, then he is just not very good at playing football.

I was trying to be charitable.

Also, he never seems to sprint, he just runs at 3/4 speed
