Pretty sure Sky have the rights to show every Carabao Cup game. So I think I’ll be on sky sports + on Saturday. Last year our tie against Huddersfield was on sky sports +

Mavididi, Choudhury, Souttar all rumoured very near the door. Can't imagine Bristric / Burns / Mystery centre half will be signed and available by then.....

It's Wednesday. Surely the match should be getting it's own match thread?

Guess that sums up the lack of excitement for the up coming season (and the ticket sales, for what is our first competitive match!).

Such a shame to see how far we have fallen. Like we needed any more evidence.

Indeed. You would think their fans would relish the chance to visit a state of the heart stadium, heaving with over 30 000* other supporters in such a vibrant atmosphere.

Watching Bristol City last night, and their newly assembled attack made me thankful we didn't sign the players from Plymouth or Orient.  Their movement was good but their finishing was woeful.  Bristol as many chances as they had could have played all night and not scored.

 

Also, made me think how bad were we last season to get relegated from the Championship.  That said, it had to be a mental thing and players downing tools.

Its mental to think we beat Derby twice, Took four points off Ipswich,  and yet, our home form was absolutely atrocious too many draws.

Largely we were relegated because we employed Cifuentes who was a ****ing useless idiot

Makes you appreciate the quality of watching the world cup when you start watching this shite. 

 

Takes some acceptable to see Ward, and even James, playing at higher level than we are

Lucky we won’t be subbing off Ayew this season, more like 70 seconds like an anaesthetised tortoise.
